While waiting for my daughter's doctor appointment to approach, we popped in on April 8, 2026. The sweetest old lady was working the dresser room that day. She was very kind to my daughter. The cashier was a bit indifferent, not particularly friendly, and my, were they very slow checking folks out that day. This store was not too busy, but certainly was messy at around 10:30 am. I was shocked. Exiting the lot to turn back south could have been more of a chore if Main Street had been busier because a u-turn was necessary.

She took the time to look at the photo I showed her and asked questions all throughout the haircut. We had an easy flowing conversation about different subjects and common interests. The Bath & Body Works in Roswell, NM is located inside the Roswell Mall…read more The mall is not glamorous - neither is the B&BW store. It's a bit on the small side yet cleanish and organized. I wish you could find the sink for rinsing off soap easier. It's way in the back near the registers. But the staff members at this B&BW were very friendly and fast checking my daughters and me out on November 22, 2025. We stocked up on winter soaps which were 5 for $27. Three-wick candles were $12.95, so more than 50% off. I don't know how I got wallflower refills for $2.95, but that must have been a Black Friday deal. One of my wallflowers scent plug-ins stopped working properly after many years, so I found the last "Natural Pine Tree Nightlight" plug. The cashier thought they were out, but I found that one stashed away on a shelf. I guess someone's mom or perhaps husband said no. Lol. Into the Night is my favorite scent, so I got a free body wash in that. Still a fan of B&BW.

The young woman was pleasant and helpful, and my wife selected an $87 pair of Skechers with air-cooled memory foam. Annie advises that the shoes were very comfortable trying them on and walking around the store, but discovered that, due to their "hands-free/slip-on" construction, there was some firm rubber that goes around the side and back of the heel at the top. This made her ankle sore, so the next time we went to Roswell, we took them with us to exchange for a more comfortable, perhaps a traditional "lace-up" style. And here is where service makes all the difference in customer experience. I have to compliment this location on their young man named Nathan. He was very pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. It was clear Nathan went the extra mile to make sure Annie had all the help she needed selecting her replacement pair and she was able to quickly decide on a pair of lace-up Skechers with the same memory foam and special air chamber in the heel. I believe this is called the "Stand on air" model. Annie said, and I quote, "These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn." Nathan was so helpful, I had to write and say something nice about him. It was our first time to see him, so I'm not sure how long he has been at this location, but he kept a very positive demeanor, very helpful attitude. He was really just perfect for what we needed. He processed the return, no problem at all. Whatever they do, they need to hang onto this employee like gold. Make him a manager (if he isn't already) and give him a nice raise. All good wishes, Anton Nym
