JCPenney is JCPenney, generally nothing unique, or special about it. However this particular store is probably my favorite JCP location. I've found this store to be well organized, well stocked, and clean. I'm the kind of person who usually has a pretty good idea of what I'm looking for, and I often find it here. I seldom leave without finding something on my list. The sales staff here seemly strikes that perfect balance of being helpful without being pushy. I will be back.

I wandered in, and tried on about 6 pairs before I found some I liked. The fitting room experience was easy, but they weren't well monitored as they were full of clothing others had left behind. Apart from that, the store seemed organized fairly well. I also did a return a few days later, which went quick and smooth. As I checked out, the staff member at the register scanned a coupon for me, discounting over $20 off my jeans that I didn't anticipate. That was a nice surprise! They had remodeled since my last visit here (like I said, many years ago) and it felt like a TJ Maxx or Marshall's experience. Random junk to buy in the checkout line, they call your number to a register up front when available.... Anyway. It was an overall nice and easy experience, and I happily found what I needed.

I had placed an order online the night before but in the morning I was already in the area and…read moreasked them if my order was already ready but was told NO wait for the email I did not have time to wait for an email so I went and got the items myself Then when I pay for it I received an email that the items are ready so I told them please cancel the pick up order. I called to make sure it was canceled and was told they will refund me in 7 business days More than 7 days pass so I check my bill I was still charged for it and no refund so I pretty much paid double I call again and am told they will send a refund wait 7 business days and if then they don't refund it I should fraud claim it So don't ever order pick up unless you are willing to wait for the email because you will for sure waste your time and more money if you go early without an email I should have just picked up the so called items and returned it myself instead of asking any employees for help because they were no help at all

I purchased a pair of shears from this location, and upon first use, it was immediately clear they…read morewere defective--they did not cut hair and instead bent it. I've never had this issue before, so I contacted corporate to report the issue and explained that while I had opened and tested the product, it was not functioning properly. I was specifically advised to return to the store and assured that the return would be handled without issue. When I returned to the store, the store manager inspected the shears, noticed a hair in them, and refused the return solely because they had been used. I explained multiple times that the product was defective and had only been tested to confirm the issue. Despite this, my concern was dismissed, and I was treated with skepticism rather than professionalism. I was then told she would contact her manager and follow up with me. It has now been over two weeks, and I have received no follow-up whatsoever. This lack of response is unacceptable. Failing to return a customer's call especially after committing to do so demonstrates a clear disregard for customer concerns and a lack of accountability at the store level. The failure to resolve the issue in a timely manner, I was made to feel as though I was being dishonest about a defective product(That I still needed, and ending up purchasing from another store) This is not only unprofessional but also unacceptable treatment of a paying customer. Although I ultimately had to resolve this matter through other means, it was not due to any assistance from your store or its management.
