It's still shiny and new! Nonetheless, it's a nice store, typical for H&M, with attractive displays and carefully designed "sale areas," etc. I was pretty excited to see this place finally open. Alas, it seemed like construction took forever, as in months behind the schedule! I don't get what the holdup was, but the final product looks pretty great. Indeed, this is actually a pretty large H&M in comparison to some, which is great because they have so much to offer. I was impressed by how well this place was run upon my initial shopping visit here, but I hope the service and cleanliness don't go by the wayside after it's operational for awhile. At least, that's what I've noticed at other H&M retail locations I've shopped in before. This one had a really nice layout and better than average selection, including on the men's side of the store (my husband was pretty happy about that). That isn't always the case. At any rate, there were no clothes jumbled together or displays in disarray or items that looked trampled on (something I've seen before at the H&M in Novi). The service was pretty good, with friendly (though not particularly "super friendly") salespeople. The clearance section, while this is a new store, seemed rather well thought-out, too. If you want inexpensive, on-trend "throwaway" fashion, I would have to say this is the best place in town. I found multiple cute sweaters for $10 and most items were $20 at the most- honestly.

The last time the store looked like it had been cleaned out.. nothing restocked, rows of haphazardly tossed together racks of clothing (none of it worth my money, time, effort, energy, etc) and tons of empty shelves and open space. It wasn't even right after a half off sale.. very dirty, messy and boring...I was quite surprised, though I can't be shocked everyone else figured out this was the best thrift store in the area. Oh well.. I'll still give them three stars based on previous shopping trips here and the awesome scores I've had before.. hopefully, it'll return to the store it's been before everyone interested in discovering eccentric treasures, Target castoffs and vintage clothing found this place! I've been a Yelp Elite member for seven years, and this was honestly one of the most enjoyable small-group events I've attended. The group size was small, which meant we received plenty of individual attention while making our bath bombs. The staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They shared the story behind the company, how the franchise started, and how this particular Fenton location grew. We also got to meet several team members who have been there for years, which really says a lot about the atmosphere they've created. Everything is made on-site in their soap kitchen using plant-based ingredients, with no parabens, phthalates, or harsh chemicals. Even better, everything smells amazing. One of the coolest features is how customizable their products are. You can choose a scent you love and have it made into laundry soap, body lotion, body butter, soaps, and more. They carry much more than soap too, including laundry detergent, dryer balls, car scent fresheners, shaved soap, and body care products. I also learned they host workshops and private events that can be booked for birthdays, parties, team outings, and other special occasions, which would make such a unique and fun celebration. The store is conveniently located near Walmart, restaurants, and right off the highway, making it an easy stop. I've lived nearby for years and somehow didn't realize this gem was here. Highly recommend stopping in or booking an event. It was a fantastic evening and I'll definitely be back! Oh and don't forget to sign up for the rewards program to get coupons and special offers.
