He was a male in his mid-to-late 20s with facial hair and said his name was "Jack," although based on his rude behavior, I have no reason to believe that was his real name. After speaking with him, I now understand exactly why he isn't--and shouldn't be--the manager. When I explained my previous experience, he responded, "I really don't care." I was shocked. He repeated it multiple times, was rude, snapped at another employee, and refused to provide any manager or corporate contact information. At that point, I lost my appetite. After leaving the establishment, I gave the sandwich away and fed the lemon bread to the pigeons. The only bright spot was the cashier and another female employee, who were both polite and professional. Even as I was leaving, they kindly said, "Thank you, have a nice day," and seemed sincere. We had a Kids Cheese Quesadilla ($8), a Single Pressed Hamburger ($7.75), a Bacon, Egg and Cheese Bagel ($8), a Coconut Curry Bowl ($14), and an Egg White Breakfast Burrito. My Coconut Curry Bowl was great, and pretty close to anything I get at a Thai restaurant. The bowl was loaded with Roasted Carrots, Broccoli, Zucchini, Summer Squash, Red and Green Peppers, Grilled Onions, Pineapple, Spicy Fresno Chili, Cilantro, Lime, House-Made Spicy Coconut Curry Sauce and was served with a side of White Rice and a whole grain pita bread. I added in a rock-bottom $1 surcharge for some grilled chicken cubes. It was a big portion and half of it went in the fridge for the next day. The Pressed Café's menu is very deep with Daily Specials Burgers and Chicken sandwiches, Coffees Smoothies, Raw Juice & Tonics, Acai Bowls, Breakfast All Day(!), Salads & Soup, Kids Meals, Paninis, Signature Bowls, a Vegan Menu, and plenty more. We were very satisfied with our food, value, and portions.
