I love these guys and recommend them highly. We own 5 cars and they service all of them (Toyota, Honda (2), Fiat, Subaru...Volvo and Ford in the past). You will not be disappointed. As a first time customer I was reliant on the advice of my insurer to lead me into the trusting hands of the seldom found honest auto repair specialist. Well, I finally found one: Lobalbo Brothers in Stamford. I walked in with a humble vehicle that needed a little attention and walked out with a million dollar roadster (or at least I think so) at no extra cost to me. These gentlemen went out of their way numerous times, during the one week stay that my car was in their care, to assure that I would be wowed. And I was!!! I asked for absolutely nothing and they gave me everything!! Lobalbo Brothers deserve your attention and your car deserves theirs. This was a new thing for her, and after squarely hitting a few potholes earlier we weren't certain our weekend plans were about to change for the worse. I looked for the nearest foreign repair shop we could nurse the car to, and ended up on Magee Ave, looking at a place that didn't fit the description and also looked quite closed. Luckily, next door we found these guys. We explained the situation to Mike, and while their techs had all gone home for the day, they didn't leave us hanging... Vinnie took the car around the block to see if it would repeat its misbehavior. In the meantime Mike made a few calls to try to reserve a car in the off chance we needed a rental. As it turned out, the Fiat refused to stutter again, and we decided to wade back into NYC rush hour. But Mike insisted that we take his card and let him know how the adventure went. I can't vouch for their technical wizardry because we didn't leave the car with them but I can say that we left with a greater faith in humanity, and can you really put a price on that? We probably took up a half hour or so of their time at closing time at the end of the week, and it would have been super easy for them to blow us off or try to convince us to leave the car over the weekend, for what turned out to be an aberration. I had no idea that several years (and several addresses) later, I'd travel "over the river and through the woods" just to make sure my car is cared for by these guys only! This is a family run business where the staff knows their customers by first name and they remember your car when you call them on the phone to make an appointment. They return your car to you in better condition than it was when you dropped it off. One time, they even touched up some scratches on the side of my beat up old Hyundai for me. My car was probably the least valuable vehicle they'd worked on all day and they were very busy. But, they did that for me to help spiff it up a bit. I was thrilled. At one point, they put in a new headlight in for me and as I arrived home, I could see on the wall of the garage that the light was mis-focused and pointed up. I drove back to the service station to ask them to fix it. Despite the fact that they'd already closed (I was the last pick up for the day), they fixed it for me immediately - and with a smile. After bringing my car to the dealership for a "soft brake" issue, I was told that it was the design of the car that made the breaks that way. My gut told me otherwise and I brought the car to Soundview who discovered that I needed a new master cylinder. By the end of the day, my car drove like new and I have not had a problem since. The main office area is decorated with family pictures and lots of U.S. Military propaganda that clearly shows their appreciation for their country and those who serve it. Being the daughter of two Military personnel, I just love seeing things like that. Everyone that they have working either at the gas pumps or in the office is extremely pleasant and at the very least can deal with people. Try finding that in any old service station... Usually, I have more of an IQ in my pinkie toe than those behind the service desk at the dealership... I trust the people who own this business and their employees. They are very respectful of me and my property. I've had a wonderful experience with them and am happy to recommend them to anyone looking for a good service station.

Someone rear-ended me in a hit and run on I-95 just two weeks after I had back surgery. From the beginning, I told one of the owners that I already had a body shop in mind and would not be using them for the repairs. I thanked them for their time and they responded, "Don't worry about it, good luck." Everything seemed fine. A couple of weeks later, I received a call from their staff saying my parts were in. I was confused and mentioned that I had been texting with someone named Tommy, who had said parts wouldn't be in for a while. The woman on the phone said she didn't know who that was, then clarified she was calling from Angelo's. I immediately explained -- again -- that I never intended to have my car repaired there. She told me they had already ordered the parts and that I needed to come in. I apologized and explained I was already working with another shop. That's when things turned unpleasant. I was told I needed to pay for the parts they ordered. When I explained that I had clearly stated from the start I would not be using their services, I was told they didn't care and that I "should have been more clear." They have since submitted a $500 bill to a creditor for parts I never authorized. No remorse. No empathy. Just a nasty and unprofessional front office. Be very careful before giving them your information. Make sure everything is documented clearly in writing. This experience added unnecessary stress to an already difficult situation.

I brought my car to Cranbury where they did preform necessary work however, they cleaned the transfer case area which was covered in oil etc and said to bring back after a day trip and put it up on lift and, low n behold transfer case was not leaking at all saving me big money. That's honesty I like and scored big brownie points with me. My car is running like new. PS I like the hometown atmosphere here. Like back in time in Mayberry with Andy Griffin and the gang ;-).
