Very disappointing experience. I called yesterday to schedule an appointment for my brakes, and…read morethey confirmed it over the phone and again by text. I took time out of my day to bring my car in, only to be told they were too busy and couldn't work on it until next week. If they already knew they were fully booked, why wasn't I told that when I made the appointment? A simple phone call or text would have saved me a wasted trip. My time is just as valuable as theirs. Poor communication and a frustrating experience. I won't be coming back.

Avoid this place, was in a crunch for time and they said they can do the job (pull, rebuild and…read morere-instal the alternator) in 2-3 hours for $350. Took 5 hours, while the mechanic took long smoke breaks, I counted three times at about 30 mins a pop. Then they tried to say it was $550 dollar job and they miss quoted me, but they'd be nice and only charge the 350. The front hood of my car had zero issues with staying in the upright/open position prior to bringing my car here. I get home and the hood wont stay up after the visit to this place, like wtf? I lost out on an 1800 dollar gig due to their time wasting mechanic, just wondering what else these shysters sabotaged on my 84 year young mothers vehicle.

WORST MECHANIC I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. I have been lied to my face about the quality and workmanship…read moreperformed. It felt like I was always given the most expensive option to service or repair my jeeps needs. I will not ever do business with Lopez auto service again. This last repair is what's lead me to this review. I went in because I got a check engine light for what turned out to be my exhaust gas recirculation. I was immediately told that I need a whole new part. No cleaning or inspection was done, just that I need a NEW part. Bought an OEM PART myself and took it to Lopez. They replaced it and even after it was replaced the same check engine light notification would come on. I was told to take it back "every time" it comes on. After a few times I got my car looked at by another mechanic, a large rubber cap was purposely placed somewhere inside of the system. Which caused the check engine light to continuously appear. The large unidentified rubber cap did not belong. Felt like I was scammed so I may continue to spend unnecessary $ here at this mechanic.
