I would have never seen this if it wasn't for the ladder and the top down view. As you can see in the photo, several screws completely missed the structural post and are just hanging in the gap. It's frustrating to see "professional" work where the hardware doesn't actually connect the fence to the support. I really expected better quality control than this. If you use them, I'd recommend double-checking the joints yourself to make sure everything is actually secured. I made the mistake of never checking until now.

The first two contractors were less than ideal and MK Construction was fantastic. We'll never have another contractor! They did a kitchen expansion and remodel with a outside deck and retaining wall. Matt is an amazing communicator, very organized and schedule and just honest and straightforward. His crew arrived at the same time every day, were friendly, polite, hardworking and easy to be around. We opted to live in the house when the construction was ongoing and "cook" in our basement. The house/construction site, was cleaned up every day, Matt checked in with me about what was taking place every day, and when my son's monster truck fell under the stairs they were building, they pulled up boards to recover it. They almost always do just one job at a time, so they are your contractors during the scope of your job. If they do have finishes on other jobs they will let you know ahead of time, and will be very clear on when they will spend a day on another job. The work is great and we love our new kitchen and deck! Couldn't ask for a better crew. Matt also project manages everything. They handle the big details (like a fantastic subcontractor who did a great wood floor) and the small details (a designer referred us to wood cabinets that were missing pieces and Matt followed up and made sure everything was fixed and delivered). We were in need of a fence repair to the side of our yard/home and reached out to a couple of companies and I was led to Rigo who came out to give me a quote. Price was comparable to others but what made me choose Rigo was that he was a standup person that provided suggestions and wood types for longevity. Rigo and his team did a great job that I rehired him to do a side fence + concrete addition to the side of the house to separate our trash bins and also added an outdoor shower fence to our backyard as well. The work was good but a year later when I had an issue, their response was that they don't do service work. I'm sorry but if you install it, you should service it.
