    The owner was very knowledgeable he told us how big the fish got and was very friendly and had a wide variety of fish to look at

    A nice mom and pop pet store which can serve most of your pet needs! I get food for my sons Bearded dragon there at a great price!!

    We had a koi pond we were looking to get re-done after we purchased our home and decided we'd try…read moreUSA Koi as they're right around the corner from us. The problem is, we never got inside. Upon pulling in there were no signs or any form of directions other than their logo sign where the driveway meets the street. We drove by a house and into a back dirt "lot" if you could call it that. The first thing I notice is that there is no one around - no one shopping or looking for supplies, no workers outside tending to the ponds - really weird. After taking a few steps toward a large shed looking structure, we were met by a very large dog. Said dog was not on a leash either. I love dogs (especially big ones) but it's a little weird to have a 100 lb+ dog just meandering around as if he's guarding the place. And since we couldn't tell if we had pulled in during closed hours (due to lack of any signage) we got back in our car and left. A word of advice to the business owners: Put up some signage somewhere! We probably would have given you a LOT of business if we knew that you were open, there were people to help and where to go to. I can't and won't comment on their products or knowledge of koi because we didn't get the opportunity to experience that. Will try again for supplies next spring, but if there's nothing telling me where to go, I give up.

They called us and moved the appointment up with a new groomer bc they had an opening. She got examined and I talked them about her skin condition that is non contagious and that her hair on her eyes was matted bc of her allergies and conditions. They said okay and we left her. 20 mins later the groomer (Morgan) calls & said she doesn't feel comfortable cutting my dogs hair and the manager says this is there policy with senior dogs which I don't believe. Then I tried to see if I could try a new groomer that felt comfortable with her and they said no. Morgan knew her age and condition to begin with. All other petsmart & private salons treat my senior baby with love and care and get the job done. If you ask me they just discriminated against my senior disabled dog. Smh I do not recommend and the manager wasn't helpful at all.

She was understanding of the issue and recommended to me to consider an additional product which of course benefits PETCO.....I accidentally left my wallet in the store and the same associate secured it in the lost and found and quickly rescued it for me. I regret I do not remember her name, but a great employee.....My first time experience.....POSITIVE. Thank PETCO for their above and beyond....A future customer

    We were watching our children's pets in their house, when suddenly we discovered a major leak from…read morea 225 gallon fish tank. We had no way of contacting our children, who were in transit in Europe. We used the internet to find a listing of companies who could help us. We called AquaticStart LLC, and we are so glad we did. Within 5 minutes, Joe Montalvo, the owner, was on his way and arrived at the house 30 minutes later. He quickly drained most of the water from the tank, helped us get a 46 gallon fish tank as a stop gap measure, then moved the fish. Somehow he manged to save all the fish.     Terrible customer service. I had been bringing my dog here for several years with no issues. I…read morebrought my dog in on August 12, 2024. I dropped her off, when they called, I went to pick her up. As soon as I stepped foot through the door to the grooming area, an older woman shouts at me "she's going to have to be an express from now on!" I'm assuming this was Alexis, because that's who was supposed to be grooming my dog that day? But I don't actually know if that was Alexis or not. I was taken aback by her shouting at me, and that being the first thing said to me. The other girl in there, Bri, intervened and spoke kindly and said "she just had some trouble in the crate, she was very excited." And that was the whole exchange. Nothing else was said to me. I assumed express meant I just had to stay there while she was being groomed, so as soon as she was done, I could take her, and she wouldn't have to be in the crate at all. Now, my dog is crate trained, she sleeps in a crate every night. So I thought that was odd, but I have no problem doing whatever to make it easier on my dog and the groomers. Regardless, this issue rubbed me the wrong way and I have not brought her to be groomed since, until today. I brought her to the turnersville location because I didn't want to bring her back to Sicklerville. When I walked in to check her in, the groomer told me there was a note in her file that said "recommend express" with no other notes and asked if I knew why the recommended that. So I told her what happened. She seemed confused and almost wary to work with my dog because of that note, and there being no other context. She also explained express meant that the grooming service would take almost double the time, because she would only be working with my dog during that time (I never realized they switch around dogs during a service to give the dogs breaks) and would be extra time to be extra cautious through every step. Of course the express service is also an upcharge. I'm not upset with the girl from turnersville, but I am upset that none of this was explained by the people at the Sicklerville location. They never told me what express even meant, they never told me it would be going in her file, they never offered context as to why it was included in her file, all I was told was that she was too excited in the crate. I'm very upset by this experience, and hate that the groomer at the turnersville location was uncomfortable grooming my dog because of a note with no context (but I don't blame her). My dog is a pitbull, so of course she already is stereotyped. And yes, she can be hyper when she's excited and she's always excited to go to the groomer. But she is friendly as can be and a giant cuddle bug. Everyone at her vets office loves her to death and understands some dogs just get excited. And just a quick side note, the amount of people who work with dogs but do not know that red nosed pits get very red when they're excited is truly astounding. With all that being said, the woman at the turnersville location was wonderful! She was very patient with my dog. And after the service, she walked me through each step. She also said she doesn't think my dog needs to be expressed, but stated she does get excited seeing other dogs and recommended calming treats before she comes.
