The bigger birds had better cages and spacing. All looked good and healthy though. Really cool raccoon family animals that I think were for sale. Lots of great and unique products; I saw rabbits too. Based on other reviews, they must offer other small critters too. Prices were standard. He is very tempermental, I warned the groomer, if he's not cooperating, whatever your doing, stop. I have the same groomer for Harley, each visit. I call to check on him, never a problem. I pick him up, when they call, he's clean, happy and trimmed. If the grooming isn't what I requested, they will fix it. Never a problem. I tip the young lady that does Harley, she does such s great job. I will keep using Petsmart, as I pleased with their services. I am not lifting an 80 lb dog into the tub; then have a clean-up job afterwards. Keep up the good job, Mantua Petsmart.

I even paid extra to have his teeth brushed because I expected a higher-quality service. When I picked him up, it honestly seemed like he hadn't been properly bathed at all. He still smelled very bad, almost as if he had only received a dry bath. What upset me the most was the haircut. They completely ruined the shape of his face, and the hair on his forehead looked like it had been cut with zigzag scissors. He was left looking choppy, uneven, and poorly groomed. A few hours later, we called to explain the situation, hoping they would be willing to make it right. Instead of apologizing or showing any concern, the manager was extremely unprofessional. He told us that since it was only our third visit, "that's what we paid for." He also said that if we wanted our dog to smell better, we would have had to pay an additional $30. The way they handled our complaint was even more disappointing than the grooming itself. We weren't looking for an argument--we simply expected them to listen to our concerns and offer a reasonable solution. It's very disappointing to pay for a service and receive such poor results, followed by such disrespectful customer service. Unfortunately, we will not be returning, and I cannot recommend this place.

Then we found out that Gail's had them. Shorter drive for us. Price is good, you get a lot, and they stay alive until we get them home. The woman that runs it is very nice, and so is the African Grey parrot in the big cage behind the counter. Even though the store is small, they seem to have something for every pet. Location is not bad at all, easy to get to. Parking lot is a bit small but you probably won't be fighting over spots. It shares the lot with a hair salon and a kids clothing store that I think is closing. Hours are decent, even though some days she opens later than others. We don't mind.
