I had been working with another breeder for a while, but after a couple of failed attempts, looked…read morearound for another highly rated breeder. I stumbled upon Omo Rotties, and they seemed reputable based on their reviews. However, buyer beware. The good - my puppy is AMAZING. She is smart, beautiful, and I hold nothing against her due to those who bred her. However, the breeders? Shady at best. Their prices are astronomical. And the service is poor at best. I was given my puppy at 6 weeks, 6 days, while she was still weaning - I had to put formula into her food for over a week. I was told she was dewormed, and given the vet bill, but not the results of the fecal exam...which I found out was for a reason. About a week after we got her, right before her vet exam, she became very lethargic. I rushed her in for a visit, to find out that her blood was essentially non-existent. I had to take her to the emergency vet, who called down to Omo's vet. Their vet told my vet that they had called Omo to let them know that she had THREE types of worms, but had only been treated for ONE. The worms had worked their way all the way up her intestines and eaten all of her blood. At 7 weeks, my puppy needed a blood transfusion, to the tune of $2,000+. She came home on 6 medications. And the response from Omo? NOTHING. They have not responded to emails, texts, anything. There has been zero concern from them on the puppy they birthed. I was concerned about other puppies in the litter. My texts and calls were filled with questions about how my puppy was doing, but nothing from them. 6 weeks later we're still working on the worms, that's how bad it was. Oh, and a month and a half later, I also still haven't gotten her papers. So yes, buyer beware. They charge incredibly high prices, but I'm not sure what you get for it. There are much higher quality breeders at much more reasonable prices.
