We hired Thomas Landscaping to pour concrete in November 2023, and it's been one long chain of excuses and frustration ever since. By December, we noticed the concrete color was completely wrong. When we contacted them, we were told it was "still curing." That same excuse continued for months -- even nine months later! Despite countless emails, texts, and photos, nothing was done. After consulting several independent contractors, we learned the issue was likely caused by moisture during the winter pour -- and that it would never correct itself. When their own concrete rep finally admitted the same, they still didn't take responsibility. Their insurance refused to cover the work because of missing paperwork and uninsured subcontractors. In the end, we paid $47,000 to have the entire job redone ourselves. Their "settlement" offer? $5,000. This experience has been exhausting, expensive, and incredibly disappointing.
