The project took a long time with several interruptions due to weather and permitting with the city. For a while it seemed like the sidewalk repair might not happen, but Juan and Freddie were able to work it out with the city and the new sidewalk looks great. Our new paver driveway looks amazing and has given us way more space. The new retaining wall curves around the corner to the street, which was a detail in the design that I really wanted, and they were able to deliver. So far after a few heavy rainstorms everything seems to be draining properly. The plants and landscaping are starting to fill in and I'm hoping that the plants thrive over the summer after some pretty nasty weather the last couple months. Perhaps the best part of the project has turned out to be the backyard where we replaced the grass lawn with turf and had the paver patio re-installed. It looks really nice and the dogs love it. I love that I don't have to spend hours weeding it and worrying about foxtails in dog feet or noses. There is still one step left before completion, since we ended up having to replace our sewer pipe to the street which left a small section of the paver driveway. Overall Northview did great work on a big job with some complicated permitting requirements. They were always respectful, polite and communicative. I'll definitely contact them again for future work and would recommend Northview Landscaping to friends and neighbors.

Within the 90 day plant guarantee, several plants died. Instead of just coming out and looking at my situation like a normal professional who gives a damn, Heather asked me to take pictures of the plants. Really? After that she said one plant just needed more water, said nothing about the dead ones. I've sent them text and voicemails and was rarely acknowledged. A few months ago she finally said she'd look into plants to replace. And then nothing again. I shouldn't have to keep contacting her. It's been a year and after being told they would do something, I've been ignored. Now my neighbor is complaining about flies from one of my bushes, and sure enough, I looked it up, this bush purposely attracts flies. Now I'm having it removed it and possibly two others to be a good neighbor. And I now have to replace the plants that died before my HOA gives me grief. Meanwhile, my wife had just had a stroke and I'm recovering from cancer and this just added extra stress to our lives. Stay away from these people.
