I had been looking for Spartan prep classes and had heard all over Facebook groups that this NXPT…read moreis the place to go for this type of training classes. It's a little far from me in the South Bay but I knew I had to try it. For parking, the lot is shared with other businesses so when I got there, it was full and parked in the lot down the street. I wouldn't suggest to park in front of the NXPT if it's the games classes since we're using wall balls near cars. When I found the class on classpass for Wednesday night, the name of it was a little confusing because it said "OCR/Games/Hyrox/Deka" so I didn't really know what that meant until I showed up to the class to learn that depending on when the next event is, that is the type of training they're doing. So my class focused on the Hyrox because the Anaheim event is in five weeks. Hannibal is the trainer and he was friendly with a quick introduction and had to jump on a call before class started. I asked around to sign the waiver and got someone to help me. I wanted to make sure that didn't slow me down starting the class on time. Thankfully I do strength training and hot yoga outside of this class so I felt I could keep up but having been to new classes before, they seem to take care of newbies with just a few more instructions. I ended up figuring it out and maybe the style of this gym is no hand holding but I ended up asking other attendees in the class about the structure. Most of the moves in this class were standard but when it came to Sled, I wasn't sure in my form. I'd suggest when they get newbies in these games classes to ask them if they've done anything like this before and if not, show them the proper technique of the moves. That helps in the actual events since form matters and also prevents injuries. Overall, it was a good experience and I'll be back!

When I first walked in, I was unsure, lacking confidence, and just hoping to feel a little better. Now, I'm stronger, healthier, and happier than I've been in a long time. I've lost weight, built real strength, and discovered a confidence I didn't know I had. But the biggest transformation has been inside. The supportive community here has become like family -- cheering me on during the hard days and celebrating every win, big or small. My mental health has improved so much because of the encouragement, positivity, and connection I've found here. NXPT Fit gave me a place where I truly belong. If you're searching for more than just a workout. If you want a home, a team, and a place that believes in you, this is it. 5 stars, without a doubt.

I like the central location to East County and other areas, the diversity, the upper story. The building used to be a movie theater! Came here after a summer job in a warehouse. I wanted the compliments to continue. The goal was just to work out. But I keep coming back for other reasons. Or if my sister nags me to. As all the superb staff know, it gets busy at this location. Bicycle class with Lupe keeps me active Monday, Gentle Yoga with Dalal is amazing. Gotta hand it to Jose for helping out and managing things to help us enjoy the gym better. Appreciate Jess for the friendly customer service. I really hate to name drop. But in general, the staff make you feel like a rockstar. As you age you become the difficult customer you dealt with when you were younger (or not that much). Thanks for the attention, thank you all gym staff, Alex. Also to all gym staff past and present. As I've gained weight and my back tightened I've moved to the bicycles more. That all could change. Yoga/stretching helps. I've tried some new machines and exercises. Gave up some. Earbuds go in so I don't stare at you. Music really helps to get lost in and motivate the workout. Say "what's up" if you can, mention the Yelp review. I highly recommend CHUZE if you want an affordable gym in the La Mesa / Lemon Grove region.

Landform and their trainers (especially Tracy) are AMAZING!…read more I trained with Tracy for 10 weeks doing personal training and it was 1000% worth it. From the beginning to the end it was an amazing experience. The gym itself is incredibly nice and they have all the equipment you could possibly need for just about any workout you would need- especially for strength training. They're always cleaning all the time so everything is in pristine shape. Cleanliness and neatness has never been a concern for me at their facility. All the staff at Landform are incredibly welcoming and friendly. It feels like a nice tight-knit community and it is definitely thanks to the culture that the staff, and even the gym members, cultivate. I first did my consultation with the owner, who also is very kind, and even did a small workout with me. Then I got teamed up with Tracy for my program. My main goals were to grow muscle and become more comfortable lifting weights and being in the gym. Tracy definitely helped me reach both goals and helped me build a great foundation for my knowledge about the gym as well as reaching my goals. Tracy went above and beyond during his training with me creating workout plans, giving positive encouragement, creating relationships with his clientele, and fostering a welcoming environment. Thanks to Tracy I have a confident understanding of how to navigate the gym and I have conquered my gym anxiety as a result. I now go to the gym with confidence in my ability to get some work done and not injure myself while I am at it. Thank you so much Landform, and especially a shoutout to Tracy, for transforming my life for the better! I HIGHLY recommend coming here no matter what you may need- a place to train, personal training or group training. I would come back again but I have moved away, but if you are around the College Area or surrounding areas, please, give Landform a try! I highly also recommend checking out their Instagram account @landformfitness if you're considering visiting Landform as they're always posting hilarious content with awesome gym and wellness tips.

I enjoy the structure of the class and that coaches will demonstrate alternative exercises. The gym itself is clean and everyone does their part to keep it that way. I didn't know if I would like the whole group workout or partner but I've grown to like it. One of the perks is their water dispenser always so clean and cold at the end of a workout. Another cool feature is the performance 360 application where I can track my weight count per exercise and reps and for being only 1 month I am seeing some progress and also better energy levels. So to me it has been worth the investment I will continue to attend Try a free class and take advantage of first month deal and seek those gains!!

I've been a member at Performance 360 La Mesa for over four months now. As someone who has been…read moredoing group fitness training for a few years now at a variety of gyms, I have to say that P360 is the best gym that I have ever been to. This is the first time that I can honestly say that I have seen not only an improvement in my physique, but an overall improvement in my cardiovascular health and overall improvement in my strength and endurance. The coaches at this gym have legitimate experience in coaching. The coaches here take their work really seriously and make a serious effort to correct form during the classes, and ensure that you are performing the movement correctly. They don't mess around, and make the environment so welcoming and comfortable. P360 even gives you access to nutrition resources by their nutrition coaches. The workouts are strategically planned out, usually up to a couple weeks out in advance. Very organized, to ensure that no matter what day you go, you will be getting a legitamte workout. I love that on the app you can see what the workouts are going to be for the week and it doesn't matter which P360 location you end up being a member at, the workouts are going to be the exact same for all the locations. And if you are someone who is new to fitness, new to using the kind of weights and barbells that are used here, there's no need to be intimidated by it. There are people of ALL ages at this gym and ALL kinds of fitness levels. They make it easy to modify some of the workouts if you have some limitations. Prior to becoming a member at P360, I was going to a lot of random studios off of ClassPass. So I feel like I have a lot of group fitness gyms to compare it too. 10/10 recommend P360.
