It feels like the kind of place you could easily spend a morning working, meeting friends, or just enjoying good coffee. I ordered the Banjo Bird on a brioche panini with grilled chicken, garlic aioli, pepper jack, kimchi pickled cucumber, tomato, and arugula. The flavor combination was fantastic. The tang from the kimchi pickled cucumber with the creamy aioli and pepper jack made every bite really interesting. Flavor wise, it was easily a 10/10. The only downside was that there was a bit too much sauce, which made the sandwich pretty soggy and it started falling apart while eating it. Still delicious, just a little messy. Their website also seems a bit outdated, which made things slightly confusing before visiting. Overall though, I really enjoyed it and can't wait to come back to try the coffee and a breakfast sandwich.

There was a sitting area right by the counter, and one around the other side for more privacy. It wasn't too busy when we went. There was one corner that had outlets from what I saw, so it might be a good idea to come with a charged laptop. The menu itself contains gluten free items which is a plus! It is also pretty affordable, with a range of items and prices. We ordered the Hi-Fi Burrito and a side of house red skin homefries. The portion sizes are generous, and nothing was greasy. I also love that they plan to use fresh produce from the public market in the warmer seasons. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend it!!

AN ABSOLUTE "MUST HEAR" FOR "SMOOTH" JAZZ LOVERS !!…read more I am a die-hard fan of WJZR-FM North Coast Radio-105.9 here in Rochester. I think the definition I discovered when viewing the radio-locator.com website describes WJZR-FM perfectly! Overall the music is unobtrusive, slick, and mellow -- very soothing and uplifting !! WJZR is my "favorite" radio station in Rochester. The station absolutely lives up to the genre as the very knowledgeable and inspiring hosts certainly do play a wide variety of "smooth" jazz and easy-going popular music with a "jazzy" feel. The sound ranges from a more polished version of fusion to up-tempo elevator music and relies on heavily on synthesizers, lite-funk bass, and soprano saxophones. So many of my favorite artists are frequently featured including, Peter White, Steve Cole, Boney James, George Benson, Kenny G., David Sanborn, Jeff Lorber, Rippingtons, Michael Lington, Freddie Ravel, Sade, Michael McDonald, David Mann, and so many, many others. WJZR is where I discovered that ART GOOD (a super-great "smooth" jazz guru) and JAZZTRAKS existed. It's where I first learned about the super-duper Annual Jazz Festivals at Big Bear Lake and Catalina Island! Based on what I'm hearing on WJZR, I have actually been inspired by my listening experience to try to plan to go to the October 2012 or 2013 Catalina Island Festival with a Rochester Group of Family & Friends. We caught the last tour of the day conducted by long time docent Peggy - she did a very nice job talking about the different studios, the programming, and some of the technical aspects of the place. One of the country's best classical music stations broadcast out of upstate New York. While some…read moreclassical stations are content to recycle the same pieces endlessly, WXXI steps up with performances from Glimmerglass, Wolf Trap, Chicago, and the orchestras of Cleveland, Dallas, and Santa Fe. One can hear classical music from all over the US. An Empire State of mind. They have unique shows like "Classical Guitar Alive" and "With Heart and Voice." Their Sunday morning programs focus on sacred music. It's refreshing. On St. Patrick's Day, they focused on Irish composers like CV Stanford- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L9zgq5qrNGw This Stanford setting of a Psalm should be familiar to anyone who's seen this movie- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sx6Lb-QQoQA WXXI has a wide variety of programming. While many public radio stations like San Francisco's KQED and Portland's (Oregon) KOPB have cut music altogether, WXXI shows that music is necessary for culture. There's plenty of room for podcasts like The Moth Radio Hour, Snap Judgment, along with great music. WXXI is one of the best stations in the country.

I came for a lecture, free and open to the public. However you needed to reserve tickets in advance. And it did "sell out" well in advance. On arrival there was a checkin process that was smooth and efficient. Once inside the seating is comfortable and well spaced. I don't think there is a blocked view in the house and the acoustics were very good, not too loud, not too low, not scratchy etc. I suppose it being a radio station and all they have that part well organized. All the way down on Lower Terrace, there's plenty of parking here. The restrooms were clean and well stocked. **posting previously drafted reviews, this was written in Dec 2015.

i used to like wned fm mainly because of their program called "music through the night" . back in…read moremay 2018 they told me in an email that music through the night would continue after i complained that it was being cut short on sundays. now they don't carry it at all anymore. they lied to me. here is a quote of what they told me .... "Thank you for your question regarding the change in early morning Sunday programming . The FCC recently required WNED to air an issue orientated program for 2 hours each week. The director of radio and television programming decided to fulfill this public affairs requirement from 4 to 6 AM each Sunday morning only. Music through the night will air at the usual time throughout the week." can't help but wonder why the fcc didn't require the same change from wxxi 91.5 fm rochester ny. but that's just a matter of an hour or 2. the part that irks me the most is the part where they told me that music through the night will continue to air at the usual time throughout the week. clearly a lie. the email they sent to me was in may. only 4 months planning ahead at a pbs station or had this been in the works for some time? any guesses? every so often pbs stations have their tin cup moments. now i wouldn't mind wned helping me with the cost of a channel master 5020 antenna that picks up wxxi 91.5 rochester ny for music through the night. the only classical music radio in toronto.. ( i'm deliberately not including the muzakked version of toronto's classical station which if you do ever tune in to by mistake you will more than likely find it either playing a commercial, talking, or just finishing up a piece of music that is single ( 9 ) digit minutes in length or less. wned, bring back music through the night between midnight and 6 am 7 days a week, including sunday nights from midnight to 6 am, or better yet carry this program all the time on a 3rd sub-channel ( 94.5-hd3 ) ... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Classical_24 at least offer an hd subchannel like ksjn rather than throwing your former supporters to the curb like trash. shame on wned. i now support wxxi for at least carrying the program music through the night between midnight and 6. those hourly news interruptions are annoying tho. even wned didn't have those when they carried this program. /my opinion
