I came to this shop to have them replace the window regulator for my Mazda 6. I bought the part…read moreonline and my intention was to simply have the new regulator installed by the folks at Precision. They quoted me $150 and I agreed. At this time there were no other window issues with my car, with the exception that my rear passenger window would not roll up 100%, it would stop at 90%. I dropped off the car and they worked on the car. Then they called me 1-2 hours later and said the window regulator was not the problem. The owner/manager said the problem was with my plastic door panel and they would not be able to fix my rear passenger window issue. I picked up my car as well as the unused part and left. About 1 hour after picking up my car, I noticed that now, I had a new issue with the front passenger side window and the rear driver side window not rolling up or down. Prior to visiting Precision, both of these windows were working, but now all of a sudden they were not working. It was clear to me that the workers at Precision did something wrong that interrupted the ability for the other windows to roll up and/or down. Needless to say, I was beyond disappointed and upset that the staff here made the problem worse. I think when they took apart the rear passenger side door to attempt to replace the window regulator for that window, the workers messed something up that negatively affected the remaining windows. Now I have to take my car to the dealer so actual professionals who know what they're doing can fix this problem. Lesson learned, I'll never take my car to this shop again. I texted the owner/manager to let him know. He suggested I bring the car back to his shop so they could the issue but like I said, it does not appear that they know what they're doing so why would I got back? I don't want them to make it worse.

They had my car for three full weeks, which was far longer than I was originally told. When I finally got my vehicle back, it was in the exact same condition as when I dropped it off--despite being told the spark plugs had been replaced and the issue had been fixed. Not only did I waste weeks without my car, but I now have to take it somewhere else to actually get the problem resolved. When confronted about a refund, the owner ignored our concerns and decided to keep our money even though we didn't agree to replace the spark plugs when we simply wanted a car scan. The lack of communication, the excessive delay, and the fact that the issue wasn't fixed at all made this whole process incredibly frustrating. He gave me a great deal on a complete rebuild of my transmission! All of the mechanics I talked to before going to Coastline wanted to put a remanufactured transmission in my Honda; Angel was the only one who accepted the challenge. This guy really knew his stuff and answered all of my questions. Just an honest guy and a hard worker. Angel completed the job in just 2.5 business days. He did a phenomenal job and I would recommend his work to anyone with transmission problems. As other reviewers noted, the shop is very small and somewhat hidden so I would call ahead and make sure that there is room.

I came across Coastline and gave them a call. I spoke with Angel, the owner. This guy knew what he was talking about! He explained to me, in layman's terms mind you, some probable causes and really broke it down into details. Given the economy, and some 'encouragement' from my wife, I had to call around and get some more quotes. I was very pleased not only with Angel's help on the phone, but with his price as he came in under all the others. It wasn't by much, but every penny counts. I decided to have him just go ahead and put in a new clutch since he was already going to have the transmission out, and considering that the price was good. I decided to take my truck in to Coastline and was welcomed by Angel as if he knew me. He was very professional and I felt very confident in leaving my truck there. My confidence was bolstered the next day when Angel called me to let me know what was going on with my car.
