1st : FYI unable to leave a negative review on their website…read more.. I had very high expectations for this restaurant but we were very disappointed. First we ordered the calamari, all of them were the same size which tells you it's frozen not made fresh and it tastes frozen and rubbery. Awful. We ordered two of the special sushi rolls and they looked beautiful. As soon as you start to eat them you realize they are drenched in Eel sauce ! Way too much. So much that you can't taste any of the other ingredients in the roll . We did not finish our food and my husband was so hungry. It's not like him to not eat sushi. We took the remaining food home and threw the calamari and sushi in the trash. Go to Chaiyo on Forest. FAR BETTER food and atmosphere!

The first time we went, I tried their sushi and it was really good. We enjoyed our food so much that we came back on our next trip up with some friends, and I tried the curry with rice. It was the kind of comfort food that warms your soul but still feels fancy, you know? My mother-in-law knew what she was talking about with this one! If you're ever in Dover, this is one spot you should add to your list.

This place is a ramen heaven, a pearl diamond located in Rohoboth Beach, Delaware! First, the…read morerestaurant's atmosphere is cozy and wonderfully decorated. It has the look and feeling that you are in Japan and not in a cheap, tourist way. The location is really neat, clean, and sanitary. Additionally, they went the next step as we were seated in a table with chairs but the chairs all had soft, pillow cushions, providing extra comfort while dining. I love that you can see the kitchen while they cook as the aromas of the delicious ramen are being prepared. If you see the bathroom there, do not be alarmed to see that their toilet has a bidet set-up. They also have toilet paper if you have never used a bidet before. Now to the best part, the food! There are two dishes I highly recommend: Bulgogi Ramen and the chicken Katsu with the bulgogi rice bowl a good follow-up. The ramen is delicious with the meat being tender, flavorful and the sweet bulgogi taste seeps into the broth, adding extra flavor. The noodles taste fresh and hand-made as well! The kimchi provides a nice counterbalance to the sweetness of the meat and broth. The bulgogi rice bowl is good too for you do not want ramen for the day. However, the chicken katsu is delicious!!!! The chicken is so crispy that you can hear the crunch sound as you bite into it. It is cooked to perfect, thin, and uniform throughout. The rice is piping hot, cooked to perfection, and a lot is provided. The cabbage provided is a nice, refreshing counterbalance to the richness of the katsu and rice. Lastly, get a boba tea drink. The flavors are delicious like the lychee and the boba is not chewy that you will have to bite and bite. One bite and it dissolves in your mouth and is in your stomach. Lastly, the service. Gabriel was phenomenal! He was attentive, gave great recommendations, and made my family and I feel welcomed like we were eating at his house. He was funny, interactive, and accommodating. Overall, great server. Kevin (the host ) was phenomenal as well. He was so humble to come by and serve us our food. He never left us unattended. Last but not least, John (the owner) is hands down one of the best owners of a restaurant I have seen. He is kind, funny, compassionate, and took his time to interact with and talk to all the patrons. He made you feel like family, asking my family and I our names and making great small talk. He was open to talking about himself and his inspiration about his restaurant even when the place was about to close. Owners who stay late near closing time on a Sunday evening, not many do that. Living in Virginia, I will miss this place. Their food is one of the best that I have had and I will be counting down the days I can come back to Rohoboth Beach to bathe in their ramen and chomp into the katsu once again!

We were captivated by the magnitude of terrific reviews Miyagi got, so we decided to give it a try. The restaurant was unassuming, located in a small plaza next-door to the Safeway grocery store. When we walk through the door, we were immediately greeted into an authentically Asian atmosphere. The restaurant was long and narrow with the kitchen visible to guests. We were seated at a cozy booth. We started with an order of the purple, sweet potato fries, and they were delicious--hot and fresh, tempura style. Each of us ordered a different Ramen bowl. The portions were healthy. The bowls were like a picture in a magazine, so colorful and varied. Unable to finish our entire bowls, we asked for takeout containers. When the server returned, he clearly directed us to separate the noodles and the broth. His attention and concern was impressive. Miyagi is a must in Rehoboth Beach. Once you're tired of eating crabs, stop by for a remarkable bowl of soup!

We got take out, but I've been told that the restaurant has a great vibe. The nigiri and hand rolls were delicious, and I also tried the crispy rice. The latter could've been a bit crispier, so I probably wouldn't order that again. Looking forward to trying other items on the menu!

First, the name is somewhat unusual, combining a western surname with "Asian bistro" is not something I've seen before. But enough preliminaries! The food was great!! We dined early-ish on a Saturday night for dinner. It was busy, but we were promptly seated and waited upon. We decided to start with edamame and scallion pancake. Both very good. Then we decided to share some sushi rolls. We ordered three, which was one too many! They were pretty big! We tried the Crazy Monkey roll (shrimp), the Harper roll (salmon and more) and the Spicy tuna roll. All were delicious, with the two specialty rolls being really lovely. And the presentation was beautiful. And the prices are pretty reasonable for the quality and quantity of food (we needed to-go boxes). As the name says, it's an Asian bistro so they had Chinese dishes as well on the menu. Harper's manages the clever feat of being a white table cloth, but still casual, restaurant with excellent food located in a suburban shopping center. A really nice surprise.

There were great options for everyone, we had two seniors and they wanted stir fry options and the kids wanted noodles and rice while a few others were fiending for sushi. They were packed when we arrived, but thank goodness they had waitlist option, so definitely get on that if you plan on going there (keep in mind that to do so, you'll need to do it on their website and the website only goes up to a party of 8, so you'll need to do the max number and give them a call and they'll adjust accordingly) Once we checked in, we waited for maybe 10 minutes and were seated on the patio. The drink order was taken, then appetizers and entrees. The server was very attentive and we really appreciated that she knew how hectic it could be dining with 14 people. She took the entree orders for the kids while the adults were figuring out what to order and the adults appetizers came out quickly along with the kids entrees first so they weren't hangry. All in all, we'd go back again, the sushi quality was great and price point was great too! All 14 of us left very happy and satisfied.
