A few years ago we were very unhappy with a local carpet company and so I didn't have very high expectations this time around. Phuong Do, one of the owners, and his crew came and refinished 3 rooms of hardwood floors. In one…read moreroom they were able to sand out a black water stain near the window. They were always on time, kept me informed and did great work, They covered my stair runners in plastic and heavy paper and any other surfaces that they walked on that were not being refinished. I expected to see a lot of dust but that was not the case. They used painters tape to seal door openings on rooms not being refinished and put up plastic over the openings to rooms that had no door. They have a dustless vacuum system that really was dustless. I was able to stay in the house during the three days they were working and the odor was not overwhelming and mostly contained to the rooms being finished. His price was very fair and I was able to get a price break by removing the carpet before they arrived. I highly recommend this company.

I had a 12 - 2 hour time frame and he got here at 5:20pm. Michael did a good job on my carpet but they were left very wet. Took almost 24 hours to dry and I had fans on the carpet. I had him clean my ottoman because I spilled some water on it and it left a water stain. He did tell me that it might not come up. That water stain came up but he left other water stains and black marks all over my ottoman. When I texted him about the black spots shortly after he left he responded w a rude defensive answer telling me that he didn't leave the black marks and told me it was a stained ottoman to start with. I told him it was not a stained ottoman. Since then no one will respond to my texts or messages. Horrible customer service and expect a late arrival as others have mentioned. If someone just got back to me and fixed my ottoman this review would not be here.

Awesome. I saw the…read moredeal on Groupon, and like all smart Groupon-aholics, I checked Yelp first (hint, hint for anyone who does not do that first because you should NOT be sucked into a great deal unless you read the reviews first) and saw all of the great reviews. I was moving and needed to get the carpets cleaned, so I bought the deal and called. They were very nice, especially when I said "yes, I'd love to have it done on the 31st, like everyone else!". I added a flight of stairs for $49 as well. Received a call the day before (yesterday) giving me a two-hour window, and today, the nice guy (whose name I don't remember, sorry) called to ask if he could come a bit early? EARLY? Um, sure. Quickly got everything into a couple of rooms without carpet, gave the dog some toys, and the three rooms AND the stairs were cleaned in no time. Really, I couldn't believe it when he said he was finished, and the carpets looked GREAT. My goal is to not have carpet in the future, but if I do, I would definitely call these guys again, Groupon or not. Tips for good Yelpers: vacuum first (they are there to clean the carpets, not vacuum them for you), give your nice cleaner some water on the way out and a tip. And a "thank you". And call Beckwith!!

This is a pretty spectacular carpet store located in Boston, and while it's not cheap, they have some amazing products here. We aren't even in the market for carpets, but because my family is Persian, I'll often will stop in and see what someone has on sale. Barbie is not too familiar with Persian stuff so I wanted to show her some of the more fancy types of things that you can get. She was pretty impressed, but not enough to part with enough of our money to get one (which she pretty much controls and I like it that way, I mean look at her). What's more - these are good people, and all things considered, this is probably where I would buy carpets in Boston if needed.
