Usually, I need…read morea foot or so of steel, or a couple of inches of aluminium, etc. There are a couple other metal suppliers in the Albany area but they don't like to deal with me because (1) I am not a pro, and (2) I don't want to order a 20' stick of something. This is a great place to go for steel, stainless, and aluminium. They don't really stock a lot of brass, and I haven't purchased much of their stainless. They had a "drops" rack which is great for picking up odds and ends of stuff. The staff is super friendly, Diane is exceptionally helpful at special orders, and their dog "Pip" is cute. And they have Saturday hours, too.
