I am quite glad I was able to see past the many negative reviews (though, knock on word, my furnace didn't require a significant repair.) The person who initially took my call, also, was very polite and professional. Btw, the charge per hour on a Sunday, was $225. I am not made of money, but I thought that was quite fair (have you ever called a plumber on a Sunday?) I am likely to become a regular Long Energy customer.

I called JDL because my GE dryer was not working properly. Justin responded on same day --Friday…read more-- and set up an appointment for the following Tuesday. Nice. Justin came to repair the dryer 18 months ago prior: different problem. The heat sensor needed adjustment. Problem solved. Now, the dryer was not "drying" clothing. He checked the outside air vent and the end cap was totally covered in packed lint. He cleaned the end cap and cleaned the duct that connected it to the dryer. He was done in 30 minutes, and I was able to tackle the laundry that had accumulated. Justin explained the problem in terms I could understand. The uncleaned end cap caused the dryer heating unit to turn off. He told me that someone could check the outside vent a few times a year to prevent the recurrence of the problem. My GE Dryer is now working great. I am pleased I do not have to replace the seven year old appliance. It was another positive experience with JDL Appkuance Repair.
