I highly recommend Dr. Rezvan for sleep studies. From my first visit they were attentive,…read moreknowledgeable, and compassionate. They explained the sleep study process and results in clear, plain language, addressed my concerns, and followed up to ensure my treatment was effective. The sleep lab staff were professional and the facility was comfortable and on time. I feel confident in the care I received and appreciate their thorough, patient-centered approach.

The office staff is seriously disorganized, and unfortunately it shows in how patients are treated…read more The staff often appears frustrated and unhappy, and that attitude gets taken out on patients who are already dealing with stressful health issues. Dr. Chang reviewed my sleep apnea test with me over two months ago, and together we selected a CPAP machine. Since then, I have heard absolutely nothing. After multiple follow-up calls, I was repeatedly told that the delay was due to my insurance company not approving the equipment. When I contacted my insurance directly, they informed me they could not authorize something that had never even been submitted by the office. On top of that, the patient portal constantly has problems, making communication even harder. Sleep apnea is a serious medical condition, and delays like this can directly impact a person's health and quality of life. Patients should not have to chase down basic medical follow-up or discover on their own that paperwork was never submitted. My advice: pick up copies of your exam results and consider seeing another pulmonologist.

I've been coming here for as long as I can remember and have never had a bad experience until now…read more The nurses and front desk staff are always friendly and helpful, no complaints there. My primary care doctor, Dr. Serna, is amazing and always takes great care of me. I had an appointment with her today, but the office called to let me know she wasn't in and asked if I wanted to reschedule or see another doctor. Since I've been in significant ear pain, I chose to see Dr. Ashizawa just to get a referral to an ENT. My appointment was at 3:00, but he didn't come in until 3:50. After briefly looking in my ear and doing a quick ear drum test, he said nothing was wrong and that there was nothing more he could do. I asked if he could please send a referral to an ENT since I'm in a lot of pain and pressure, but he shrugged and said there was no point because they wouldn't do anything different. That's simply not true, he barely investigated the issue. I left after two hours with no diagnosis or help and am now debating whether to go to the ER or pay out of pocket to see a specialist. I'd highly recommend avoiding Dr. Ashizawa, he seemed completely dismissive and uninterested in helping his patients.

It's a great place if you don't have to use there automated phone system to get through to someone…read more First of all it doesn't understand what your saying half the time and you have to start over again. This happens multiple time and just today I was returning a call that was left on my voicemail about my referral and I was going through the automated system again. Finally got a Patient Navigator and said I was returning a call left on my voicemail. I wasn't able to talk to that person that left the message on my voicemail and had to make an appointment for a consult. So now I have to drive back to the doctors office just to see what the voicemail was about. Anyone else having issues with this Automated Phone System they now have? If so, you need to speak up. What ever happened to talking to a live person from the doctors office you go too. Other than that the Doctors, Staff, and Patient Navigators are great. Been going there for over 20 years.

I was referred to Dr. Yeam in 2005 by my Primary Care Physician for what he thought was sleep…read moreapnea. Under Dr. Yeam's care, I have been using a CPAP since that time. I cannot speak more highly of Dr. Yeam and his team. His professionalism and are is outstanding. His bedside manner and his approach to patient care is exceptional. Without reservation I would recommend him for anyone with a sleep disorder. The one and only downside is when calling his office, which is part of the Memorial Care Medical Group. More times than not, you get stuck in corporate phone system hell. The choose this number for X or this number for Y gets pretty frustrating. And then you get a person on the phone that cannot answer a question because of lack of access or is remote from his office and has zero information is a nightmare. Dr. Yeam used to be a solo practitioner or shared with another doctor and contact was simpler and you didn't feel like just another number but a patient. I understand why he joined MemorialCare but corporate medicine is a pain. But because he is such an outstanding physician, I'm staying with him for my care.

Run away!! Perfect example of a doctor that is ruining more lives than helping. I have been…read moredealing with sleep apnea for over 15 years and I'm only 40. Went to Dr. Yeam with multiple sleep studies in hand. Each of them showing an AHI of over 50 without my oral appliance and lower than 4 with it. Dr. Yeam told me in 40 years he has only seen one cure for sleep apnea and that is using a CPAP machine. Based on this logic my oral appliance was not working. He said a CPAP is the only cure for sleep apnea. If it doesn't work for you than you are lazy and not using it. First, a CPAP machine DOES NOT cure sleep apnea. It treats the symptoms of it. Used one for years and it sucks. I guess in a way my sleep apnea was cured because I wouldn't get more than 4 hours of broken sleep per night. No sleep = no apnea. Secondly, there are many forms of treatment for sleep apnea, not just one. I suppose in 40 years there has not been a single technological advancement in the medical field of sleep medicine. Not one, not any, nothing, nada. Do 5 minutes of research and you'll see that's not the case. Congrats you're already more informed than Dr. Yeam. Fast forward and it turns out I have narcolepsy & sleep apnea and will end up getting the MMA surgery. My last sleep study using my somnodent oral appliance, I had a AHI of 2. My AHI was 78 when not using it. The surgery is intense but has a 96% to 97% success rate to perm cure sleep apnea from my conversations and research. I am taking medicine for narcolepsy that has changed my life. If I listened to DR. Yeam my life would be ruined. I would be fighting narcolepsy by using a CPAP. I wouldn't be in line for a surgery that permanently cures sleep apnea. I hope people read this and it helps. If you want to use a CPAP for life than DR. Yeam is your guy. Otherwise, keep looking. Don't let your life be ruined by this doctor and his 40 years of only providing one treatment for the symptoms of a medical problem.
