At times, it genuinely felt like they were intentionally delaying or avoiding approving the claim. MaxCare did not provide a rental or loaner vehicle. I was without transportation for over two months, which caused lost income and extreme stress, especially while I was planning a wedding. After all of this, they still failed to approve all necessary repairs, leaving me potentially responsible for a future engine replacement -- something my warranty should have covered. I will never purchase a MaxCare warranty again and will actively tell everyone I know to avoid them. I will warn friends, family, coworkers, and anyone who asks about my experience to stay far away from MaxCare and CarMax. This company wasted months of my time, caused real financial harm, and provided absolutely nothing resembling customer support. Do not make the same mistake I did.
