I am giving this company two stars because, although we had a good experience with them at another…read morehome, the mold returned within two months of the remediation at this property. The underlying cause of the mold was never properly investigated. The company performed the mold testing and remediation but did not identify the source of the moisture or determine why the mold developed in the first place. They later claimed that I told them not to inspect the HVAC system because it was new. That is incorrect. I simply stated that the HVAC system was new; I never told them not to inspect it. The HVAC system was ultimately not the cause of the problem anyway. What disappointed me most was how the company responded when the mold returned. Rather than offering to reinspect the property, correct the problem, or provide a refund, they placed the blame on me. I gave them an opportunity to resolve the situation, but they only stated that the product they sprayed must have worked because otherwise the mold problem would have been worse. I also later learned that Florida generally prohibits the same company from performing both a mold assessment and mold remediation on the same property within a 12-month period when the work falls under Florida's mold-licensing laws. This company performed both the testing and the remediation. Overall, the mold returned very quickly, the root cause was never identified, and the company made no meaningful effort to correct the problem. Because of the cost of the failed remediation and the company's unwillingness to resolve my concerns, I am now considering my legal options and do not recommend this company.

I do not think I could have been sent better people!! Seriously, Garrison and Mike have been super helpful! Garrison has been communicating very well as far as what they are doing, what to expect and their plans for the following day. He's been very empathetic and caring throughout this. I have a LOT of belongings and the majority have been destroyed. The worst part is, I was in the midst of unpacking before I left a month ago because I recently purchased this home. I have boxes of clothes, shoes, accessories, purses and so much more that are now trash. Mold on so many things. Due to the bed sitting in water, the legs have cracked, clothes on hangers in the closet smell like mold. It's a disaster. I was upset at the beginning because this is not what one wants to walk into. My plan was to unpack boxes, not pack up what I can salvage. Needless to say, IF you find yourself in need of a restoration company (which I hope you don't), you can't go wrong with Garrison and Mike. They were replacing some cabinet boxes in my kitchen. Turns out that they hadn't even started building the box when they called to reschedule since on Fridaty cabinet guy called me directly to see if he could stop by to match the wood. On the following Monday I fired them (why work with dishonest contractors). I told them if they had the box built bring it by on Wednesday which they did. The entire job was suppose to cost $3600. I had to email them three times to get a refund. They emailed me a week later to say that the box cost $3100 and there would be a $75 change fee!! The box cost no more than $500 to make!!!!!! No response when I complained about the service price and refund. Crooks!!!!!

The cost is crazy expensive, and they don't do the complete job. We still have water and mold (and no drywall) after spending nearly $10,000 on about 20 feet of first story "remediation" The job took them a day so imagine the hourly rate - more than a brain surgeon. There is no guarantee or warranty on the work, or none that they honor. They don't do the finish work so you need to contract that out additionally. You should use them to find the mold, suggest a solution, then RUN to find someone else who will do the work at a much more reasonable cost, and probably better. I'm incredibly frustrated and disappointed and still need to spend at least another $5,000-$10,000 to get it done properly. This is a tiny place. You know the feeling you get when you were just conned? They are responsive at getting out quickly, so there's no fault there. I just would never, ever refer business to them or use them again.
