The worst experience I've ever had! We waited over 20-25 minutes to be served while other vehicles in the next lane got cleaned twice before anyone even acknowledged us. The young lady with purple/black lipstick (see attached photo) was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional -- she wouldn't even turn around when we tried to ask a simple question. When my husband asked why we were being skipped after two cars had already gone through, an older man jumped in out of nowhere, accusing us of "disrespecting" her, he doesn't even know what was going on! By the time our SUV was finally cleaned, it smelled like wet dog, and the staff barely wiped the doors after the car wash. For a place where we pay for the Ultimate (top) package, this is completely unacceptable. I don't ask for much -- just the service I'm paying for -- and this experience made me want to cancel my membership on the spot. Avoid this location at all costs. read more

I purchased a 2 month discounted membership, and have been happy with it. The BHam location is right next to where I work, so I pop in once or twice per week. Last time D. Update: 5/2023. Surprisingly, this place is still terrible. I left with bird poop all over my car. The interior detailing that I paid for meant nothing because there were stains all over the cup holder even after they "cleaned" it. I asked for a rag to do it myself and they kept telling me to turn around and go back through the line. I asked for the manager (Ryan) and he was just as careless asking me to turn back around even though it was a quick fix. I'll continue to avoid this location even though I live here in Birmingham. I have had the Full Service membership since 2008 and had always been happy, but this week I am ecstatic with the customer service at Jax. They lost one of the OEM mats for my car in December. They looked at cameras but couldn't find it. Ryan told me to replace it...but Toyota only sells a set of 4. No problem for Jax. They reimbursed the whole cost. Jax Car Wash is a fantastic business. I bought a used car that smelled strongly of air freshener. After a few days, I realized it was covering up cigarette smoke. Brandon, Chris, and Tyler are amazing! All three of these managers worked with me to try to get cigarette odor out of my car. They were quick to get my car in for detailing and worked with me to select the best cleaning treatments while making sure I was not paying for unnecessary treatments. Brandon especially went out of his way to help me. He was very thoughtful and professional. I am so grateful for his kindness and hard work. I definitely recommend Jax Car Wash! read more

I should have listened to all the other negative reviews before going anyway today, but my interior was in serious need and this location is very close to my work. I paid $20 for the full service wash and gave a nice tip which I immediately regretted once I started driving away. They left my floor seats with salt stains from the winter completely untouched. And the most offensive, my front seat was as dirty as when I brought it in. My dog sits up front sometimes, and there were very visible dirt marks from his paws. They did not clean them whatsoever, and I have leather so it would've been a simple task. There's a reason why I was so desperate for a cleaning - my seats. And the fact that they weren't even touched is beyond my understanding. I uploaded a picture. Got there ten minutes early for an interior detail appointment and the first employee who I saw in the parking lot was playing on his phone. When I asked him where to park for the detailing he told me "I don't know where you park, over there maybe," but there was no where to park that way. The second employee I asked told me I needed a membership until he finally understood I was just there for a detailing. He then informed me to park in front of the truck over on the other side of the parking lot, as I was getting out of my vehicle he tells me to move behind the truck because that spot won't work.... Ummm?? So I move my car and go into the lounge. Not one worker to be found and all the employees working the car wash lanes seemed like chickens with their heads cut off. I got in my car and left. What a horrible business and idiot workers. I'll never go back here. read more
