Lovely! I came here on Sunday after working out, although I shouldn't be if I want to lose weight. But, I had the time and I listed this on my "places to go" in Santa Clarita for some time. Anyway, the exterior has that western vibe going on with the structure of the building exterior. The parking lot is huge and I was able to park very close to the place. Interior was quaint, clean, vibrant and well small for its size. The place sells Korean food. I looked at the menu and decided to go with the lunch special as it looked like a good value and I'm used to eating bento boxes at other places and just decided to order that. It comes with sushi called kimbap, tempura about two pieces and two pieces of tofu slices. You get a side, I chose the beef bulgogi as based on the choices was my favorite. Then a salad. The overall design and look of the box special was very nice, beautiful and wonderful to look at. The food itself was very good, filling, and had a great taste to it. I also ordered a kimbap/sushi set of tofu roll. That as well is very tasty although it didn't have the nori seaweed around it. I saved some for later, but I tried one of the rolls to make a review on it. All in all, $26 for the lunch special and the tofu set roll. Value was decent and food was delicious. Customer service was welcoming, kind and helpful. The woman at the front was Korean, she had a beautiful face and wonderful personality when I ordered and recommended tips on what to order and directed my attention to multiple menus since the front ones didn't list all the items on the full menu. I took a pamphlet menu as well which listed other categories like catering and dessert. I would imagine the pamphlet to have all the items. Wait time was not long at all although I was the only customer. A little too quiet, some teenager kids came in but they just asked for water. They were noisy and left within 5 minutes or so. The tables and seats inside are nice to sit on and I liked the ambiance inside. It was air conditioned and there was faint music in the background. Anyhow, didn't get the girls name, should have though but I was in a rush and didn't think twice about it. Overall, 9.5/10. The only gripe is I didn't see a bathroom and the place could be bigger, but other than that, excellent food, excellent value and excellent customer service. I probably will be back and bring a friend of mine who loves Korean food, my cousin. He's a big boy and will order a lot. He lives Twice the Korean band and jajangmyeon, so I would imagine he would love this food as well. I recommend it as one of the best comfort foods in Santa Clarita. This review is for my first experience with Jaws Topokki and it was take out. I visited family and for dinner my sister ordered for pick up. To make things simple, I went with their Lunchbox special where it has a little bit of everything! I chose spicy pork belly as the meat selection and chicken galbi gimbap. The order also has marinated tofu sheets, kimchi, salad and a fried croquette. Absolutely delicious and filling! The spicy is spicy ( I say this because often times I get something spicy, it's just a little kick.) The chicken galbi gimbap is flavorful and filling but won't let you feel heavy. It is a generous portion of food at a great price. They also ordered a side of fried dumplings, fried chicken strips (this one has a little kick) and fried cheese sticks, Jaws Topokki is one of my family's favorite and they often order here. I am definitely ordering here again when I come for a visit. read more

If you like Korean food, or want to try, I would highly recommend. We went on a weekday around 12 and it wasn't too busy. We ordered the topokki mild, the beef rib gimbop and fried chicken. Everything was very tasty. The topokki was a little more spicier than expected even though we ordered it mild. Eating it with the gimbop helped to balance out our meal. The fried chicken is boneless strips with mild spiciness. So next time we will probably not order it with the topokki since it was spice on spice. We were really pleased with the gimbop. They were bigger than expected with a substantial amount of filling. They have lunch boxes and different combination of topokki and other Korean street foods so I would definitely come back. Place is clean, good amount of seating and the staff at the counter was very nice. read more

Everybody has a happy face here and if you don't feel like talking to anybody, you can order online as well. The ambience is wonderful. With a very cozy atmosphere, I've been here twice now...the first time was to try the Bulgogi Kimbap (불고기 김밥), the second to try one of the lunch boxes, the Pork Cutlet (돈까스) with the Beef Rib Kimbap (갈비 김밥). This is such a cute spot, super clean and front staff was very friendly. There are several tables for seating but we ordered takeout. I ordered the jajang topokki (added sausage and quail eggs) which was great for my kids since they can't eat spicy type yet~ they especially loved the added sausages in it. Got the large deep fried set, which wasn't my favorite tbh, it wasn't as crispy as I thought it would be. The Korean sausage was decent, had about 11 pieces in the order. The pork cutlet gimbap was really delicious. My kids also got the cheese sticks and loved it. Of course had to get the sikhye slushie which was also delicious. Been here a couple of times and really enjoy the food. Everything comes out piping hot! Gimbap is pretty tasty. Korean fast food but the food quality is really good. Staff is helpful with recommendations if you're new to Korean food. The lunchbox set iis the best value and you can try a couple of items You can pick he spice level of the topokki. 10/10. Got the Gimbap Lunchbox with pork cutlet and barun gimbap. My mom got the Lunchbox spicy pork belly and bulgogi gimbap. Spicy pork belly was our favorite part. I don't eat side salads that often, but the dressing it came with was so good that I ended up finishing the salad. The fried items were a nice surprise and added texture. It was a good amount of food so we had enough leftovers for a light dinner. No complaints with the service, they were friendly. The lunchbox came with many different things so it's pretty satisfying whether you are craving something specific or not. Hey a new k food spot has opened and it has some comfort Korean food. The topokki is decent as well as the kimbap bulgogi and kalbi ones. We got a combo set with fried dumplings and other fried items as well as the Korean sausage. Overall decent chain Korean place. Was excited to go as unlike sushi places where there's no sub for rice, they have egg as a sub in their "Keto Gimbap". What surprised me was that it had fried shrimp in it...the last thing I'd eat on keto. I thought for sure they sub it for another keto protein, like chicken, pork or beef, but they would not. I did get it, not a good choice for my blood sugar but I was already there. Unfortunately it means I won't be back. Too bad as I would have come often. It tasted good and the fried shrimp was warm, which means they assemble the roll fresh...even more confusing to why they won't sub the protein to a true keto one that has no carbs and sugar.
