Like majority of modern establishments there is free Wi-Fi. Sadly I do not know much about Indonesian cuisine to tell if the food was authentic but what I can tell is whether the food is good. As a starter I had LUMPIA which are spring rolls and OPOR AYAM which reminds me of chicken curry. Both were very good. To soothe my thirst I had recommended a ginger homemade lemonade, also very good. I've decided to test desert also, picking coconut pancakes called DADAR GULUNG. I've tasted something like that during my trip to Sri Lanka this year so I can compare. I've enjoyed them, served with ice cream were nice finish. The only thing I do not understand is why the pancakes were green colored... Overall this place had food worth returning, moderately expensive (about 400 CZK for one person dinner) for no special occasion with staff that is not of the fastest but is very friendly. I'll most likely return to test lunch menu when I have time.

Curry was lacking in pinch and flavor. Maybe we ordered the wrong thing, but servers didn't know anything about Indonesian food so were of no help. I was craving rice so we made the trek out there but probably should have stuck with the schnitzels and beer.

Sri Lankan Curry House is located in a renovated cellar very convenient to náměstí Jiřiho z Poděbrad metro stop. Staff speak the check and English. They seem to have a number of different categories of food preparation (curry, fried noodles, biryani, Sri Lankan flatbread, and wok stir-fry) with a choice of different vegetables, chicken (with bone), pork, tuna, calamari, or shrimp. I tried the set menu, which comes with a huge amount of white rice, pappadum with a spicy onion chutney, and small bowls each of a vegetable curry, dhal, pork curry, spicy onions with sausage, and a "vegetable" salad that was slightly sweet and contained mostly fruit. It was a huge amount of food for 180 Kč. Most of the menu items indicate the you can choose a level of spiciness; I was not asked for the spice level and as it is a number of small samples of different things, I am not sure if they are able to customize the spice level on the set menu. In any case, it was quite tasty and the pork curry and spicy onions were the perfect level of spice for me. I will keep this in mind when looking for South Asian restaurants. I'm looking forward to trying the flatbreads.

Set in a…read morenondescript building and decorated in a very spartan way, Sansho delivers on what the focus should be on - the food. The 6 course tasting meal was fantastic. Chef's starter was a perfectly grilled pork neck. And then it kept getting better from there - Bloody Mary oyster shooter, salmon sashimi with citrus, soy and sesame (a standout) pork belly, lamb wrapped in what can only be described as two leaves that resembled the taste of black pepper and mint (unreal!), razorneck clams in a yuzu broth with grilled bread, soft shell crab sliders with horseradish on bao, and grilled pork with papaya salad and coconut rice (perfection!). Add to it wonderful cocktails and you have an amazing experience. Did I also say that our server was incredible and the price was incredibly reasonable at $70/person? Because he was and it was! Would come back again and again.

We know it was from Sansho because it was the only common item we had over the past few days. I love this place and it really makes me upset to leave a review like this because it really is an awesome spot. At the end of the day if there is a Michelin star and dining prices are this high, there needs to be an expectation on food safety habits which this boils down to.

Food: I ordered the Bami Goreng, which is an Indonesian noodle dish, similar to pad thai. I have to say, it was actually quite good, as the noodles were cooked well and I have no complaints about the chicken and veggies in the bowl. The portion size was decent, although it was definitely a bit overpriced, at 499 CZK (~22 USD). Environment: It is very clear that this place is catered toward tourists. The decor is sort of a lavish yet tacky / stereotypically Asian style. For example, there is a gold Buddha statue, bamboo, fish tanks, and more along those lines. That being said, in all honesty, it was actually a kind of nice and comfortable environment. There is dim lighting with red accents, creating for an intimate vibe. The restaurant has a large interior. In addition to dining areas, there are also lounge areas for people to just chill / hang out. Service: The staff are friendly and the service speed is quick. This was probably helped by the fact that there were only a handful of other tables occupied when I was there. Overall, I have to first give Asian Temple credit for actually serving food late at night, unlike other places that (even if they appeared open) had their kitchens close early. On top of that, the food and environment were surprisingly good. It's definitely a touristy (and therefore kind of overpriced) place, so I wouldn't recommend specifically planning to come here, but if it's late at night or for some reason you really just want Asian food, then Asian Temple is a decent choice.
