Our clinic always goes to their taco truck because their food is amazing! They're very clean and follow all COVID regulations. Both owner and wife are amazing and very accommodating. Would recommend 100%

Now located just outside the parking lot at the Vons supermarket in Eagle Rock, it's easy to combine a trip for groceries with a quick snack or dinner in the parking lot. Their amazing tacos are still just as good, with the al pastor, asada, and chicken being my favorites, with a plentiful assortment of salsas, limes, chopped onions and cilantro, and radishes to top it all off. At 2.25 per taco, you can splurge a little bit without dropping too much cash (and yes, this is a spot where you should bring cash!) but they also have started taking Zelle. Be adventurous and order a couple different types and find your new favorite! This place offers very little in terms of ambiance, seating, or tables, but service is always quick and efficient even when the spot gets crowded--usually late at night and on the weekends. Be prepared to take your food to go, eat in the car, or stand around in the parking lot while you enjoy your food. Have plenty of napkins and hand sanitizer ready. Trust me when I say you will need them!

I got the suadero, carnitas, chorizo, and al pastor tacos (multiple rounds). I love that it has the onion and cilantro side bar as well as grilled onions on the side. The taste of the meats was very good. Everything was cooked fresh in front of me with a giant stew pot in the background too. Overall, decent cheap tacos. Free parking in Little Tokyo area is a plus and I could also walk over the the mini mall and look around afterwards.

First off all there is plenty of parking all over street and they might have their own lot but I have never had an issue finding free parking. The location is large bench tables in the back enough where kids can play and so much room for a large party. Front of the restaurant has tables/chairs and there is also a large outdoor area to eat and party. We had a party of 25 people but so did plenty of groups there at the same time. Now food time. This is what you can order at Taco Social: WAGYU SMASH BURGER, RIBEYE BULGOGI, CARNE ASADA, QUESABIRRIA, TIKKA MASALA , GREEK LIFE, CHICKEN QUESO, MEXI-CALI , BANH MI, PORK DUMPLING, NASHVILLE HOT COD, AHI POKÉ, BAJA FISH, CAJUN SHRIMP, BAJA SHRIMP, THAI CHILI, FALAFEL, and TEMPURA CAULIFLOWER. We ordered like 4 of everything so I was able to sample everything! Loved it all. Must consume when warm bc once it gets cold it doesn't taste the same. Take some home to heat up. All of these tacos taste so good and authentic to its background. Ingredients they do not go cheap here. I also ordered a margarita made delish perfectly. They also do serve burritos, fries, salad, rice bowls, and kids meals. What I do order everytime is chips and Mexican salsa (not too spicy but spicy enough) that is a must take home to consume later. Weekdays 3-6pm they have a social hour daily special that changes on food/alcohol which is a deal. Staff so friendly and helpful. Thank you for serving us in Eagle Rock. Come and tacoabot (hehe) with all your friends.

For for first timers, I'd recommend ordering the Villa's Trio which is what I got. Those come with the Ranchera Asada quesotaco as well as the Papas con Chorizo and Black Bean con Pollo quesotacos which are a trio exclusive. All the tacos were meaty, flavorful, and crispy. You honestly don't even need the side sauces since the tacos are already flavorful on their own. Great quality. I also got the Watermelon Agua Fresca which was refreshing, tasty, and sweet. Goes well with the tacos. I also got the Jamaica Agua Fresca, but that one was a bit too tart for my liking. The line can get long, so I would prepare to wait for up to an hour on weekends. There's ample free parking at the grocery store lot nearby. For seating and tables, it's limited and competitive. You just have to get lucky if a spot clears up as soon as you get your food. I also like how the restaurant handles crowd control. They allow a couple of people at a time to go inside, order, and get their condiments. You wait outside until they call you for your food. I like that it didn't feel crowded while I was getting my condiments. I highly recommend this spot and I will definitely be coming back.

I regret not going to this place earlier... I've known about…read morethis place for a while now but never had the chance to come. I finally found time to come on a Saturday at night around 10pm and holy cow it did not disappoint. We were indecisive between two places but ultimately decided to come here and I'm so glad we did. It's a pretty big street taco stand located on the curb of the Eagle Rock Target parking lot. We were able to park in the parking lot and walk down to the curb to wait in the pretty long line at 10pm. We waited about 15 minutes before we could actually order our food. The first area is for the queso tacos and burritos. You let them know how many queso-ed tortillas you need for both burritos and tacos. After that, you let them know what meat you want but don't make the same mistake as me because they have a separate area for al pastor. You can choose what toppings/salsas you want! There's 3 different sauces, onions and cilantro, and guacamole that comes with the price of your item! Make sure to bring cash because I think it's cheaper but they also accept credit cards. Food: Queso Asada Taco (10/10): The tacos are LOADED up! The first bite was so delicious, maybe because I was starving. They melt the cheese and put it as your base layer on top of your tortilla. The asada was loaded up on top and I got all the salsas, onions and cilantro, and guacamole. The onions and cilantro adds a nice freshness to the heaviness of everything. The asada was cooked so nicely, there were a few bits of really crispy pieces plus a cheese pull. The asada was perfectly salted and had a smoky flavor to it. I absolutely loved this and will be getting asada in another form. Queso Pastor Burrito (9/10): I NEED this one again but with asada. Like the queso tacos, the cheese crust is on the inside of your burrito and it adds such a nice texture to each bite. The burrito is big and really filling. I have no other words besides, this was amazing and I still think about this. Queso Pastor Taco (8/10): I know that the pastor was the more popular one because it sold out a few minutes after we finished ordering. The pastor had a sweetness to it but overall was on the saltier side (IMO) and I wished it was more smoky. This one was also as equally loaded up as the asada but I personally preferred the asada over pastor. Pastor Potato (7.5/10): This potato was HUGEEEE. I shared this one with my group and we still couldn't finish it. The potato was massive and after eating your tacos, you're already going to be so full. This did unfortunately hold up the line since they had to cut a lot of pastor plus add cheese and wait for that to melt. The 5 of us were already so full, we barely ate half the potato (it's that big). Unfortunately, we all thought that the potato wasn't cooked enough. The potato wasn't soft enough and when we were trying to dig for pieces of the potato, it would just come out in blocks instead of mashed together with all the toppings. I also do wish that the potato itself was salted.

If you're debating whether Angelo's Tijuana Tacos is worth the wait--the answer is 100% yes…read more There's almost always a line, especially during peak hours, but it moves at a decent pace and the food easily justifies it. You can smell the meats grilling from down the street, which is usually your first clue you're in the right place. I usually order the asada taco and al pastor taco, and both are consistently solid. The asada is well-seasoned with a nice char, while the al pastor is juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. Toppings are simple--onion, cilantro, salsa--but everything comes together perfectly without needing anything extra. The setup is very much a true street taco experience: a tent on the sidewalk with tables nearby, and you can watch them cook everything fresh right in front of you. It's casual, a little hectic, but that's part of the charm.

So today we tried the steak tacos, nachos, and homemade Mika drink. The meat is really good, the place is very clean, and the people are friendly, the only thing that we didn't like was that their nachos beans seemed a little bit burnt or plasticy. And the tortillas on my tacos seemed too dry which is why we gave it Three stars, the cheese was pretty good and Jamaica was a little bit too sour. So if they made those a little bit better, then you would have some really amazing food, we don't hate the place and we definitely want to come back. Everything on the menu is very affordable, tacos are two dollars each, nachos are about nine dollars, the drinks are about $1.50 unless if you get the other ones which cost a slight bit more. But other than that enjoyable with a slight bit fixing to do. Thank you guys.
