His knowledge of plants that thrive in our area was invaluable, and his network of contacts made a real difference in the quality of the final result. First time we used Yelp for a project. It was convenient that there were numerous messages that…read morewere sent out to various tree specialists. Noe Pablo was the most thorough in messaging through the Yelp app, so my husband and I chose him. I had 2 medium-sized fruit trees I needed to transfer from my parent's home in Southeast San Diego to mine in North County. I took pictures and he gave us a very reasonable price. We also decided to also add another service to take out our palm tree. There were a couple of mishaps such as: The day he was scheduled to take out the palm tree, he was a no-show and my husband had to call him an hour after he was supposed to arrive. Then, the day after that incident, was the fruit tree transfer. He and his team forgot to bring their dolly. Thank goodness my Dad had one so they borrowed it, but now we have the burden in taking it back. Despite these mishaps, Noe was very knowledgeable and professional in his mannerisms. The day of the fruit tree transfer, he and his team arrived in a timely manner, was efficient and did a great job overall. We were very pleased and will definitely use him again if we have another project.

Small yard? No worries, Brookside has your back!…read more If you buy new construction these days you can pretty much kiss that yard space goodbye. Finding ourselves in this situation, we needed a team that could transform our "cozy" yard into a comfortable yet elevated outdoor living space. Enter Brookside. You know that feeling when you hire someone to do a big home project and hope that everything goes well, but you kind of hold your breath in the event that something goes awry? That won't happen with Brookside. From our initial call to the thanks-for-everything completion hand shake, they didn't skip a beat. Everything went SO smooth and communication was on point the entire time. Brookside is a well oiled machine. The conversations between us, Brooks and Jenny, and the crew were fluid the entire time and no one was ever in the dark about the plan. On top of that, everyone was so personable and professional. These guys are hard workers and leave your space clean and organized at the end of every day. We were so happy with how our space turned out. Brookside took our basic ideas for hardscape and softscape to the next level and created a beautiful designer yard. We would hire Brookside again in a heartbeat- and you should too!

After accepting the estimate, he and his crew started the next day. The yard needed a good clean-up, including the removal or trimming of some small trees/bushes along with some other plants. He also said he would call me on Wednesday with the arrival time. Unfortunately, I never received the promised phone call, and Thursday came and went with no communication and no one showed up. I reached out to ask what happened, but by then I had already been left waiting. Things happen, and schedules can change, but a simple phone call or text would have been the professional thing to do. Ghosting a new customer after committing to a job is disappointing and wasted my time. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company because reliability and communication are important qualities in any service business.
