They worked on my 2006 Camry and 2019 Tacoma and I'm very happy with the customer service and quality of work. I've kept up the maintenance and brought it in for an oil leak, oil change and to clean out the carburetor. I should have listened to my gut and walked out when they wanted a $1500 deposit before they even looked under the hood. Several months later and several THOUSAND dollars down the tube, I have a non-stock, electric radiator that doesn't fit, that bent the fan and caused smoke and sparks the second I drove 2 blocks from their shop, it drains my battery, to the point that now I can't drive it as it overheats or kills my battery and I still have the original oil leak. They promised me over and over again that they'd make it right. The owner went so far as stating he's a Christian but after three or four times trying to schedule it to come back in, he totally ghosted me. If you have a car you care about, avoid this place. I wish I had.

It's not really hidden, I snapped a picture of the teeny tiny sign outside the auto shop. Jim, i think he is the J in J & D Auto Repair was friendly and helpful getting the Beau set up with new reels, hooks and tackle to fish. He answered questions in regards to the differences to fish off the pier as well as the beach. Lots of varieties and stock for your local fishing needs, some things even looked like for boat fishing - i'm no expert so please don't quote me on that HA! Figured I give this local shop a review in times of COVID may not have much auto repair traffic that may stumble across this. COVID Review: Jim was wearing a mask, hand sanitizer was provided at the register as well as a screen/shield. Social distancing is enforced and Jim points you around the store so that you can browser without him hoovering too closely. Thank you Jim! We will be back.

The prices are comparable but they allow you to bring your own oil and oil filter which lowers the price. Oil change synthetic = 109.95 Oil change regular = 64.95 When I bring oil = $44.78 (I think if I brought both it's $35) They make it cheaper for the locals. Great service and great deal!

The mechanic was competent and did a good job fixing my car…read more However, the lady that works behind the counter to order parts and arrange payments did a very poor job and did not seem to care about customers at all. I was traveling through town and my battery died when I tried to start my car in the hotel in the morning. I called this repair shop because I needed my battery replaced quickly, so I could get back on the road. When I first spoke to the lady, she said that she could have a battery that fit my car, delivered to the shop in under an hour and they could install it right away. This sounded like a good solution. I went to the shop, they took out the old battery and the lady said the battery was on its way and should be there soon. I went to get lunch nearby and returned an hour later. To my surprise, there was no battery in my car. I asked the lady what was going on and she said there was some mix up with the battery supplier and the battery was never sent. She said it was the suppliers fault, that she just spoke to them and they were rushing over the battery now. I just had to wait another 20 minutes. I was not happy, but mistakes happen and another 20 minutes seemed okay. Another hour went by and there was still no battery delivery. I asked her again, where is the battery. All she could say is "the guy is on his way". 30 more minutes passed and still no battery. I was very annoyed and worried, because I had been waiting 3 hours for a battery, my car was disassembled and it was already 4pm at this point. To my surprise, the lady just closed-up the office and started to walk to her car to go home, leaving me there in the shop with no idea if my car was going to be fixed. Fortunately, the battery did arrive about 30 minutes later and one of the mechanics who was still around installed it for me. As I mentioned, the mechanic was good. But the lady is terrible at taking care of customers. She most likely created the problem by not ordering the battery from the vendor correctly (although she blamed them), took no ownership of solving the problem and essentially left to go home with the problem not resolved and with a customer left hanging. Also she quoted me $500 and when the mechanic went to charge me, it was $575. But since the lady went home already he had to charge me the higher price, since nobody could reach her.

They alerted me to things I should do very soon, ie. an oil change and tire nail fix. Luckily I knew about those things and already had an appointment at a tire store the next day, but it's nice to know they do a general quick inspection to make sure things are good. When I got back for the pickup the mechanic was test driving the vehicle, also a sign of a good mechanic shop. The bill was exactly what I was quoted and I was happy with the price. I feel like it was a good value for getting done what I could not do myself. I think some of us, like myself, have a mechanic friend, but I chose to go here because I wanted it done right and I trust they do it right. The car i took in for service was a family van and we need it to work right and to be reliable. I don't know if everyone feels like I do that these days you always have to fight to get things done right or be prepared for something wrong or to cost extra or whatever but this was simple. Tell them what I need done, drop it off, pay for it and pick it up. I was pleasantly surprised there were no hickups.
