The office is located on the second story right near the stairs. It's very clean and tastefully decorated in an aquatic theme. Dr Javidan is an awesome dentist. My family has been coming to her for 8 years. She's a really caring genuine person. If you are concerned about having a gentle touch, then she's your man, er I mean woman. Seriously though, she truly cares about her patients comfort and needs. I also really value her for her honesty. She's not the kind of dentist who will tell you that need a bunch of work done. I've been coming for all these years and have only needed 1 crown. All of the rest of the visits were only cleanings and my daughter has only needed one cavity filled. So I wholeheartedly trust her judgement. You're going to love her, I promise. read more

Javidan Dentistry - Office is upstairs - General Dentistry Near Me - San Diego, California

I have gone through many dentists and finally have found the one that fits my needs! Dr. Javidan is very knowledgeable in what she does. She also tells it like it is, unlike my past dentists that just want your money. I had a root canal done here and to be honest it wasn't that bad! I've had one done at another dentist and man they charged me an arm and a leg. Dr. Javidan works with you to make payments or even offers to apply for a CareCredit card that helps you if you don't have enough money at the time. Her staff is very polite, courteous and professional. Especially the Office Manager! She is very helpful and answered all of my questions when it came to billing. The office is decorated very nice and all the rooms are clean. They could use a flat panel t.v. in the waiting room so the patients can watch, but reading a magazine stimulates the mind so its all good! Haha!! I also got a free pen and personalized company calendar to take home. They also made me a free home kit that included a tooth brush, tooth paste and dental floss! That was pretty awesome!! I will definitely recommend Dr. Javidan to my friends and family. read more

My family has been going to Dr. Javidan for 20 years (I know she doesn't look that old!) She is friendly and helpful and we have never had any problems with her work. We tried another dentist once when my husband's work switched insurance and we learned what a really bad dentists was like. Dr. Javidan had to redo all of my work from him. We pay more to be covered by a plan she accepts, but it is worth it. We will NEVER go anywhere else! I have referred several friends and co-workers to her and they still thank me to this day for referring her to them. read more

me and my family have been going to Dr Javidan for more than 2 years. First she looks so caring but after a few time visiting her, you will notice she doesnt care about you at all. She always has too many patients at the same time and for the simple cleaning it takes her 1hour to do. she keeps going back and forth and have you wait. most importantly, she usually doesnt put enough effort as she is suppose to. For cleaning she has one of her assistance to wash your teeth for 30 min and then for 5 min she comes and do the cleaning, which now that I go to a different dr have noticed is different. my new dr spent exactly one hour cleaning my teeth and gum which Dr Javidan never does. Everytime that I went to her she told me that she is doing deep cleaning and she charged me for it, now that I noticed that she wasnt doing deep cleaning for me. I went to her 3 times and her assistant mentioned its the time to measure my gum and she was like, we dont have time, next time and she never did it. I had a serious gum problem that I didnt know, I told her everytime that my gum has problem, its bleeding a lot, and she was like brush your teeth 2 times a day!!! I also had a cavity that she never realized, these all happened to my family and one of my friend as well. Im so glad I changed my dr and now feeling better with my gum and teeth. DONT GO TO HER read more

Dr. Javidan is a warm and honest woman! She loves her patients and I like being able to catch up with her when I go in for visits. Good location in Mira Mesa area in the Hmart shopping center on top of Daiso. And I recommend her to anyone that is looking for a dentist! read more

Javidan Dentistry - General Dentistry Near Me - San Diego, California

I am an orthodontist that has several patients in common with Dr. Mitra Javidan. I get to see these patients every month for their orthodontic adjustment visits. So I see first hand the excellent dental restorations that she has provided for these patients. I get nothing but positive feedback about Dr. Javidan from these patients. She is very friendly, gentle and accommodating. Her office is warm, comfortable and inviting. She does some of the most impeccable dental work I have ever seen. I highly recommend Dr. Javidan and will continue to refer my orthodontic patients to her for their general dentistry needs. read more

I have been going to Dr. Javidan since I was a child. Most people are afraid of the dentist, but she actually makes my experience enjoyable. Dr. Javidan and her staff go above and beyond by taking the time to know and care about your life, she always asks how I am and remembers people and events that are important to me, I can tell she really cares. I have received several bondings on teeth that never grew correctly, and there is no other way to describe her talent than sheer artistry. She created a tooth for me that looks and feels real, and it's lasted for over 10 years. I'm also really thankful for the laser treatments they provide for cold-sore relief and healing. I have never had insurance, and her office has gone out of their way to make things affordable for me and give me the care I need, always working with me and my budget, and timing. She has come in on a holiday weekend for me when I was just here for the holidays... I can't say enough good things! Not only is this an exceptional dentist office, but Dr. Javidan and her staff are exceptional artists and human beings, that take great pride in their work and give you all-star service. I would never go anywhere else. Even when I have lived other places I would travel back here to see her. It's that good! Thank you Dr. Javidan and staff!!! read more

I DISAGREE with the recent negative comments! I've been coming here for years. As explained to me, although it looks like a charge, its standard protocol to bill the insurance for what was done BUT it feels great to know that if the insurance doesn't cover it, they do not charge you. But why shouldn't they? Their time and materials cost money and I'm sure it adds up over time! THANKFULLY I have found an honest office like this. They do not have to write this off but they care about their patients! Maybe you should call that office and ask if you have a balance. If you haven't received a bill, I'm pretty sure they did not charge you! You should ask. I do agree with your comment about the staff and environment. Dr. Javidan has always been honest to her patient and never once felt like she wanted just my money; she genuinely cares. Dr. Javidan and her staff make you feel at home. No insurance? No problem, they accept all new patients with or without insurances. Try them out. You won't find another dentist like her! read more

Dr. Javidan is awesome. I went to her for years a long time ago, didn't go to any dentist for a while due to lack of insurance, and then switched to her from another dentist who decided he didn't want to take Saturday appointments anymore (the only reason I went to him in the first place and not back to Dr. Javidan - see my review of the other dentist). Dr. Javidan is sweet and she knows what she's doing. She's been in the same office for many, many years and has a loyal patient base...like me. I'll definitely be going here for the long term (since I'm no longer a student without insurance)! read more

I LOVE Dr. Javidan!!! She is a great dentist and super humble and friendly. I have been to her office few times so far for different reasons and every time I leave with a big smile! I was referred to her initially by a coworker to treat a bad canker sore, she used laser technology to burn it off and with med the discomfort was gone in few minutes and ever since I decided to stay with her although I don't live in that area. She is very personal, sweet and has great attention to details. She does most of the work herself and today I went for regular check up and cleaning and she did the cleaning!! Her assistants and office Staff are all sweet and super friendly! I really enjoy going there and I highly recommend Dr. Javidan to anyone looking for a great dentist. read more

My parents and I have been seeing Dr. Javidan for many years. She is very personable and generous. Willing to work with you (and won't rip you off) even if you don't have insurance. Side note - For a couple years, we had to see someone else due to a change in insurance. They "found" problems that didn't exists, and charged excessively. We went back to Javidan, and she was much more reasonable with pricing, and confirmed that some of the issues the other dentist found were made up entirely. Go see Dr. Javidan - she is experienced, has good judgement, and overall is a good person. read more

What can I say but AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! My family and I have been seeing her since 1992 and I will never go anywhere else. Visiting the dentist is actually a pleasant experience here - never rushed - always relaxed and very thorough. Dr. Javidan and her staff are so awesome! Our family has been seeing her since our kids were really young, and 2 out of 3 have never even had a cavity. I attribute this to her excellent care and the sealant and flouride treatments she is careful to apply as their adult teeth have come in. She and her staff are gentle and caring, and the assistants are so friendly and fun our kids look forward to going to the dentist. I have had some root canals, crowns, and cosmetic work, and I am extremely happy with the results. read more

My family and I have been Dr. Javidan's patients for over 17 years now. She is a very good dentist. I tried different dentists due to my dental insurance not always being accepted by her office. This never worked out, and I always came back to her. She does care about her patients, is very professional, and does not overbook appointments, contrary to what one of the previous reviewers wrote. I had my teeth deep cleaned numerous times to my complete satisfaction. Her personal approach to patients is amazing. Through the years, she has developed a caring professional relationship with my special needs son who now independently (without my assistance) enjoys his cleaning and exam visits, which is quite extraordinary. I would highly recommend Dr. Javidan and her practice. read more

Dr. Javidan has been my dentist for over 15 years now and since I've found her, I will never go to another dentist again. First, she is very skilled and does gentle work. I have never had pain after any kind of treatment with her. Other dentists are so clumsy and do not care whether they are hurting you or not, but Dr. Javidan is so gentle and careful and does amazing work. She even takes her time going over everything with me to make sure I make the best decisions regarding dental care. Dr. Javidan is also excellent in cosmetic dentistry. I don't know what I would do without her. Needless to say, I love my dentist! I would give her 10 stars if I could! read more

Very satisfied. The dentist and her team are easy to talk to, very thorough and honest. She explained things the way they were and did not try to make extra work by pointing out things. She actually discouraged me from doing things that were not necessary. Great to know that there are detal offices out there still who will actually take care of your teath instead of trying to upsell. Great dentist, great staff; wonderful experience. read more

Best dentist i have ever had. I actually look forward to my dentist appointments!! She is so honest and never tries to con you like some dentists that I have encountered, unfortunately. I went to Dr. Javidan this morning to get my very first cavity filled. Let's just say I was not excited and was nervous because I did not know what to expect since I have never had a cavity in my 24 years of living. Dr. Javidan was very gracious as I'm sure she could tell that I was nervous and she was of course aware that this was my first filling. We started without the numbing agent at first to see if it were just a small cavity - but alas, the numbing was needed. She was very gentle and after the injection, massaged my jaw muscles to get it flowing and allowed 10-15 minutes for the agent to fully kick in. I was not having a fun time and was feeling quite overwhelmed, and she provided water and offered tea to help. Once the numbing agent was in full action, she finished the filling but proceeded to tell me everything she was doing which I really appreciated. Getting a filling is never fun, but I am so grateful that I had a gracious and understanding Doctor through the process. read more

Super competent dentist PLUS a really nice person. She has been my dentist for some time in California, and even in the last few years while living abroad, I had come back for my dental appointments because she is that good! She comes across as a professional who does the "right thing" - from recommending (NOT PUSHING) a treatment I needed or monitoring my condition in times when I did not have the time or the right insurance to carry out some of the more expensive work needed. When I was abroad, her team communicated promptly to schedule my appointments and responded quickly to questions. I recommend Dr Javidan to anyone who wants to have a long-term dentist who genuinely care about you and your personal situation, especially those who have had bad experiences with other dentists who seem too pushy with their own business agendas. In my experience, Dr Javidan will not shy away from telling me or reminding me what I needed done, but she also doesn't judge me for making decisions that suited me at the time. I live abroad now, but I see Dr Javidan as my dentist still! read more

Dr Javidan was recommended by my sister. I started visiting her in 2015 and after a stint with cancer returned to have her put a crown in. At that time I paid my portion of the crown and they billed my ins for the balance. I received a letter shortly after from her office to inform me that my ins rejected payment because a previous dentist has received payment for work that had not been done. At the time I got the letter, as a patient it was not clear to me so, i called her office and her receptionist wouldn't let me get a word in. She was extremely rude and I asked her to stop speaking over me. 20mins after that Dr Javidan called me to explain the letter and inform me that I needed to come in this afternoon(I had an appt at 4pm) and pay the balance of my bill and then added "You do plan on coming in at 4 don't you?". I thought to myself, I have never not shown up or cancelled at the last min so why the rudeness. I responded "Yes of course". When I hung up the phone I was shaken to the core. I called her back about 20mins later and explain to her I thought it was very unfair of her to call me with such rudeness without asking what transpired in the conversation with her receptionist. I thanked her for all she had done for both me and my family and told her I would not be coming back. I have managed a Customer Service dept for 21yrs and I can tell you that if EVER I called a customer back on a complaint and didn't ask them in the first sentence "How can I help you" I would have 1. a very unhappy customer and 2. NO JOB!... She has lost a very good customer and although her job will stay in tack, I hope she has learned a lesson in how to speak to customers.....PS I paid the balance of my bill... read more
