Disgusting!!! Even my six year old son thought the hot chocolate and SOUR DOUGH cinnamon twists were too "yucky" to eat. We felt unwelcomed and out of place. Not very friendly staff either. Oh Yeah! This place is happening. The crowd was the full mix of humanity and everyone, andI mean everyone was warm, friendly, helpful, and polite. Aestetically the place looks great and it's comfy for meeting up with a friend. I went there this morning and got the red chai in a large cup. It was extremely weak. Not sure why, but it makes me think that the quality isn't as good as something like a Mighty Leaf that definitely would have packed a lot of flavor. Also, I got the breakfast croissant sandwich. It had scrambled eggs, bacon and cheddar on it. It didn't have any flavor. It was huge, and kind of just looked like a large mess. I wouldn't get it again. The service was pretty quick. I waited maybe 5 - 7 minutes for the croissant sandwich. If you want a quick breakfast it's a place to go, just don't expect a lot of flavor. read more

My husband and I stopped here on our way out of town to get some coffee. I elected to get the hot chocolate which was interesting to say the least. It was very very chocolate-y. It basically tasted like a hershey bar melted which might work for some people but I felt that it was lacking. The other interested thing was that it had an overwhelming flavor of cinnamon in it. You can choose Mexican or Swiss chocolate. Stopped here on the way to Jackson, Wyoming, for a quick break before continuing on. The place has a very stylish look to it, and a vibrant atmosphere that only benefits an establishment. It seems that the breakfast and lunch menus are pretty extensive for a café, and although we didn't eat anything except for a "sunrise" muffin, the dishes look pretty good. Oh, and speaking of that muffin, it had a pretty interesting taste, site of like a savory biscuit combined with a scone. Which tastes better than it looks. Java is a place that doesn't get much credit. I've been to this location many times, in the past. If you love the smell of coffee and a relaxing and friendly place to sit and catch up on work or just reflect on life, this place is for you. There have been many reasons I've visited this location. The atmosphere is inviting, the staff is always friendly and the prices are very reasonable. When I visit this location I usually order the Chai tea. Let This is an amazing tea to drink for any of you tea lovers. I've ordered a few other drinks and I usually need help ordering. Sometimes I'm daring and want to try something other than chai tea (because there is so many options). The staff doesn't hesitate to make your ordering fast and convenient. I don't think I've ever walked out of this coffee shop without feeling relaxed and ready to attack the day. If you like coffee and tea, this is your place. They also have certain things to eat but I have yet to try them. I hope those of you who visit, have the same great experience that I've had. read more

Unfortunately, I usually get motivated to Yelp when i have a horrible experience somewhere, but I love going here so much, and want to share how much i love it and why I love it so much with the world. Java has not only the best coffee, best baristas, and even best food ( beating out a grand majority of even the most expensive restaurants here) in town, not to mention it is the one place I can go to hang out comfortably. Wonderful wonderful energy, nice people, and an awesome spot to go and chill. I wish Twin Falls had more establishments like this ( say for maybe bringing Java's crowd in after hours for cocktails)? Great place to socialize, or even be private. Also, let me mention how awesome EVERYTHING foodwise is there. The breakfast croissant is to die for, I LOVE the ham and cheese scramble, the breakfast burrito looks insanely amazing, and the tuna melt I had was the best I've had ANYWHERE.... EVER. First time here. Overall not bad. Coffee is good. I had the "Keith Richards" which is basically a 4 shot mocha . I requested half the mocha and it was still to sweet for me but still good. The food ...... Hmmmm! I ordered the breakfast burrito. It was suppose to be a green chili, bacon with black beans. The bacon was that pre-cooked paper thin stuff, green chillies and black beans from a CAN. All rolled up with eggs and thrown in the microwave. So wet when I got it was more like a plate if soup. I did order one of the famous muffins. Very tasty! Nice atmosphere. Staff wasn't the friendliest but they were really busy. The girl wiping off all the chairs was doing a great job. She wiped everything! The seats,the legs the tables. Too bad she used the same rag to wash the tabasco bottles, the coffee creamer pitchers, the doors. I was there for an hour and that rag was used for everything. Didn't even rinse it out. YUM! The coffee is decently priced, but the food is really expensive for what it is. IF, it was as good as the menu makes it look, the prices would be appropriate. I know this place is a local favorite and it is very busy. I would say come for coffee and a muffin but don't use the Tabasco or touch the creamer. read more

I am all about supporting small businesses. This is a great place to hang out. Comfy couches and nice little tables to hang out around, but if you're going for coffee or food I would come expecting to wait and have to go up to the bar a couple times to have your order fixed. Upon walking in it was our first time so we were looking at the board, the three baristas just sat and stared at us. Not one of them said hi or asked if they could help is. We ordered one quad shot large espresso drink and one regular large espresso drink and they definitely did not put four shots in one. They tasted the exact same. Our friend ordered a large vanilla latte, which did not have vanilla in it. In the end most of our drinks had to be fixed and we waited a long time for food. Once things were fixed and food was out it tasted pretty good, but not worth the hassle or wait. I would come back to this place, but I wouldn't go out of my way. read more

How this place had 4.5 stars out of 34 reviews is beyond me!! We both ordered the huevos rancheros....which had no resemblance to actual huevos rancheros. It came with scrambled eggs so we asked for over easy eggs instead and with corn tortillas. Our "huevos rancheros" came out with a sad excuse for scrambled eggs that even after driving 9 hours and not having any sleep did not look appetizing, and flour tortillas. So we sent them back to be made correctly and waited even longer for what was the worst breakfast I've had in a long time. The corn tortillas had been warmed in a microwave and had already chilled to the point of closer resembling the taste of cardboard. The poached eggs that we asked be over easy were cooked through and had a rubber like texture. The black beans were dried out and weren't even warmed properly. The pico de gallo was a watered down, tasteless and colorless mix of what I think was tomato, onion, and maybe you could call that cilantro? I'm severely disappointed we wasted our money here. read more
