Super friendly staff. Peach basil burrata scone looks amazing. Lots of space to sit, work, chill. Enjoyed my latte!

This place is great. The mochas and chai's are amazing. The atmosphere is adorable. Who ever owns this place has great taste and an eye for detail. From food to decor it's a delight. It's also very clean with plenty of seating and a warm fireplace. Friendly service.

Great place to study with the coolest baristas. With the rest of Goleta/SB being overrun by trendy overpriced cafes that all have one-syllable names starting with D (Dean, Dune, Dawn, what is with that?) this place has a nice old timey feel with plenty of sunlight, actually reasonably priced drinks, and lots of seating!

Nice place. Very good Cafe Latte. Must visit. Staff are super friendly. Amazing service.

Eve My daughter and I came in to grab a bite. We love the atmosphere and to make it even better the food and drink were amazing. Next time we come we are getting the lox s hmear.

This is one of the larger hipster coffee shops I have been to. There is a full size fireplace inside, they have a big green egg and lots of indoor and outdoor seating. It seems to be the popular place for breakfast too! They seem to have very basic coffee drinks and nothing too fancy. With September 1st being just 2 days away, we asked if they had any pumpkin specialty drinks and they said no since it's seasonal. So that was a bit disappointing. I ended up getting a Chai Latte and honestly I was not that impressed. It definitely tasted like it had more milk than what I am used to and it was not sweet. Which is ok I guess but when in vacation I like to enjoy my pricey coffee specialty drinks. The baristas were nice and everyone local seems to like this place but I personally preferred the Lighthouse over this place. We spent $15 for one black coffee, one large chai latte and one small latte and I feel robbed. Way more than Starbucks.

Wow!

Haven't been here in awhile and was sad to hear they are not open at night anymore. Great baristas, bountiful seating, excellent coffee, and the ambience is still comfy, welcoming, and fun. I guess there is a special comedy night sometimes. Check it out!

This place is an absolute gem! You can tell when you walk in that the beans they use are fantastic quality just by the smell. To me, that's always a good indicator of a coffee shop I want to be in. The service was friendly and even though there was almost no parking left my orders came out in a jiffy! The whole place was packed but it was very quiet, mostly because everyone respected those around them. I tried the Green juice (kale, cucumber, lemon, apple, chard) and unsweetened iced matcha oat milk latte. Both were soooo good! I am fully pleased with my stop here and highly recommend the Java station. Can't wait to try the food next time!

If you're looking for a coffee shop that serves food then I would recommend Java Station. The staff is friendly and they have an extensive drink and food menu. This morning a friend and I went for coffee and their specialty bagels. The lox and schmear is always my go to and my friend ordered the avocado bagel. Both topping were perfect but the bagels can sometimes be a little chewy than desired. That being said the bagels were still very delicious. The coffee is pretty good as well and they do have a couple Axxess Card buy one, get one free deals. Overall Java Station is a solid place to go to for coffee beverages and food.

Cute place has a good Latin vibe. They do comedy shows and sell art which is nice. My complaint is on the pricing. The baked goods are on the pricier side. I ordered a hibiscus tea service was fast and the people were friendly it's just expensive.

Sadly they changed the recipe on their breakfast burritos and they are nowhere near as good as they used to be. They got rid of the ham and cheese scone as well, so now there's not much savory breakfast food on their menu. They got rid of game night as well. I love the manager and the baristas but I have stopped going even though I was a regular for years. I still love them but I need savory food options. Hopefully Rebecca will listen.

Just a warning about the breakfast burrito. We got a real turd of a burrito last week. They either need to change the way they prepare this or stop selling it. Besides that javastation is great. We have gone for years nearly every week. Staff is friendly. Good atmosphere.

Came here for a comedy show while we were in town. Cute little coffee shop with good seating. My husband and I split the veggie sandwich, it was huge! We will be visiting again next time we are in town

The young lady up front was very welcoming and provided amazing service! This place has been so popular on social media and they are known for their matcha specials. If you follow them on instagram they post their daily specials and provide great updates of their inventory and wait times (a genius idea may I add). My personal favorites were the matcha einspanner and their strawberry matcha latte. For mochi donuts I especially enjoyed their lemon blueberry ricotta and brown butter turon specials. Inside they have nice seating and some stools but it gets very busy so the seating area can fill up. They also provide umbrellas if there is a long line and a hot sun outside. I highly recommend this place so be sure to check it out!

We got the regular matcha latte and the strawberry matcha latte which were both delicious and had lots of matcha in it which we appreciated. We also liked that the drinks weren't too sweet. We also tried the mochi donuts, mango cheesecake was good but Thai tea Oreo was weird. Ube muffin was decent but overpriced for the size. Wish we could've tried the brioche but they don't sell them until noon. Overall solid spot for matcha and pastries!

Like many parts of Santa Barbara, the buildings are steeped in history and reflect the Spanish heritage of the city. I walked in my dog (they're dog friendly!) and went straight to look for the menu. My dog immediately found the bike pump and the snacks they leave for dogs. Service is super nice! They all seem very jovial and cheerful - making it a really nice local vibe. It was great to see the community in the coffee shop. Sadly, the coffee leaves something to be desired. Their menu is pretty standard - you got your flat whites, cappuccinos, lattes - and nothing special or standout from the menu. That's fine - you can still be a standout coffee shop with a standard menu. I ordered two vanilla lattes - one hot, and the other iced with oat milk. Unfortunately, I think my order was misheard as my iced oat latte was missing the vanilla. - Vanilla Latte: Fine. My partner typically orders this everywhere and he said it was fine, but nothing standout. 3/5 - Iced Oat Latte: Already mentioned it was missing the vanilla I asked for, so I'll discuss the other elements. They use a darker roast - thus, making it more susceptible to a bitter taste. That, and I believe an over-extraction or a longer pull made the coffee quite bitter. They also served it in the same cup as the hot coffee. My main issue with this is that I'm a slower coffee drinker, and thus my cup began disintegrating as time passed. Their cups aren't constructed to uphold iced coffee well. 2/5 It was such a prime location nearby the USPS and is sat in a great historic area. Handlebars has great staff, who clearly enjoy their jobs, and have a great community surrounding it. It's sad that their coffee is subpar. Strongly recommend you order your coffee hot, to drink in-store, or just avoid.

They give you a buzzer to inform you when your order was ready. The items were made fresh to order. The breakfast tacos were delicious. The jamaica drink was supposed to be with lemongrass but I didn't taste the lemongrass.
