Plastic is destroying the beautiful ocean that this restaurant overlooks. This review has nothing to do with the delicious food. It is about the business practice of using disposable plastic to save time and money. Too many Flagler business owners are comfortable with this. Pls take ownership and use real cups and ramekins. All I needed was it to be wrapped in a napkin. I appreciate that they want to be clean and to offer good customer service, but it's not necessary to use so much plastic and packaging just for one muffin. For the breakfast of eggs that I stayed there to eat, I was given a disposable plastic cup for my water and disposable ramekins for sour cream and salsa. Super friendly servers, great breakfast and mimosas, fast service. They do charge for adding extras to your omelette (.59 cents for each extra topping) my only complaint was not being informed but it's very inexpensive so it's a small price to pay for how great the experience was. read more

Let me start off by saying,, I wish I could give this place 10 stars! This had to be the most organized, well-staffed, and friendly place we visited the whole 5 days of our trip to Flagler Beach. Unfortunately, we didn't find it until our last day here. Other restaurants and bars could take a lesson from this place. More than ample staff that worked as a team, so you would have 5-6 different servers to get you anything. This place treats your dog like royalty. Fresh ice water and treats. By far the best coffee and breakfast! So fresh, reasonably priced, huge portions and sooooo delicious! We felt like family here. The staff were so warm and friendly. Cute spot! We brought our two large labs and they were super accommodating to them. They even had their own bowl to offer them for water. The place is small with not a ton of seating so there may be a bit of a wait. Good choice of music playing. Great views of the beach from the patio. Food took a really long time to come out and was good. My friend and I ordered the same dish but got different ingredients so I'm not sure what happened with that. If your looking for a versatile menu and a nice view , sit outside of the java joint . The service was very pleasant and the food was great. I ordered a Heath bar iced latte and my man ordered a cappuccino. The iced latte wasn't as sweet as I expected but their homemade whipped topping made up for it. I will say that I had a 1/2 shrimp and grits & 1/2 crab cake Benedict. The grits were creamy and possibly the best I've ever had . The crab cake was really good as well and a nice twist on a true classic favorite . But what blew me away the most was their banana bread. Now it may have been just a regular slice of banana bread but they toast it on the flat top leaving you with a warm crispy outside surface that's great with a little bit of butter . My meal was pretty good, just a little oily; however it was only my first time here, and it would not be fair to generalize that to all of the food. In the two years we've lived in Palm Coast, I've driven by this place on the beach 100+ times but never stopped ... until today. Wow! What was I thinking?!? I always saw people sitting on the outside deck and now I know why. My wife and I had breakfast, and I just can't say enough about the great food, well-trained staff and gorgeous ocean view. The vacant table on the deck was wet from overnight rain. But before I could even comment about it to my wife, a man (who I later learned is the owner) appeared with towel in hand to dry it off for us. A server greeted us as soon as we sat down, provided menus and took our drink orders which were delivered in a flash. Throughout the meal, the team of young servers was attentive, friendly and efficient. The coffee was really good and our cups were continually refilled. 10+ stars for all of them! Totally excellent service. And the food? The best breakfast we ever had on Flagler Beach, bar none. My classic eggs benedict was perfectly cooked and came hot to the table. The hash browns were crispy and delicious. My wife's omelette was loaded with ham and cheese and she loved every bite. The raisin toast was a cut above, with a bakery-fresh texture and flavor. Kudos to the kitchen, too! Did I mention the view? This place sits right on A1A with the beach just across the road. Every table on the deck has a great view. We watched a large flock of pelicans floating on the water throughout our meal. This is our new go to breakfast spot on the beach. We will be regulars and you should be, too. read more

The smell of bacon early in the morning with a view of the ocean. That's a party for all of your senses. Again, another great "local". They serve breakfast all day, along with lunch options. We stopped by for breakfast while driving our way up A1A. The food was pretty standard. I had the special; bacon, eggs and a waffle. Huge cups and insanely delicious! We moved in to the famous shrimp and grits. I'm from Georgia, and grits is a religion to me. The grits here are creamier than mind.
