The place is small with not a ton of seating so there may be a bit of a wait. Good choice of music playing. Great views of the beach from the patio. Food took a really long time to come out and was good. My friend and I ordered the same dish but got different ingredients so I'm not sure what happened with that. If your looking for a versatile menu and a nice view , sit outside of the java joint . The service was very pleasant and the food was great. I ordered a Heath bar iced latte and my man ordered a cappuccino. The iced latte wasn't as sweet as I expected but their homemade whipped topping made up for it. I will say that I had a 1/2 shrimp and grits & 1/2 crab cake Benedict. The grits were creamy and possibly the best I've ever had . The crab cake was really good as well and a nice twist on a true classic favorite . But what blew me away the most was their banana bread. Now it may have been just a regular slice of banana bread but they toast it on the flat top leaving you with a warm crispy outside surface that's great with a little bit of butter . Great spot with wifi and beautiful view. Unfortunately, disposable plastic is given to guests, even to those who are staying to eat. Plastic is destroying the beautiful ocean that this restaurant overlooks. This review has nothing to do with the delicious food. It is about the business practice of using disposable plastic to save time and money. Too many Flagler business owners are comfortable with this. Pls take ownership and use real cups and ramekins. For the breakfast of eggs that I stayed there to eat, I was given a disposable plastic cup for my water and disposable ramekins for sour cream and salsa. In the two years we've lived in Palm Coast, I've driven by this place on the beach 100+ times but never stopped ... until today. Wow! What was I thinking?!? I always saw people sitting on the outside deck and now I know why. My wife and I had breakfast, and I just can't say enough about the great food, well-trained staff and gorgeous ocean view. The vacant table on the deck was wet from overnight rain. But before I could even comment about it to my wife, a man (who I later learned is the owner) appeared with towel in hand to dry it off for us. A server greeted us as soon as we sat down, provided menus and took our drink orders which were delivered in a flash. Throughout the meal, the team of young servers was attentive, friendly and efficient. The coffee was really good and our cups were continually refilled. 10+ stars for all of them! Totally excellent service. And the food? The best breakfast we ever had on Flagler Beach, bar none. My classic eggs benedict was perfectly cooked and came hot to the table. The hash browns were crispy and delicious. My wife's omelette was loaded with ham and cheese and she loved every bite. The raisin toast was a cut above, with a bakery-fresh texture and flavor. Kudos to the kitchen, too! Did I mention the view? This place sits right on A1A with the beach just across the road. Every table on the deck has a great view. We watched a large flock of pelicans floating on the water throughout our meal. This is our new go to breakfast spot on the beach. We will be regulars and you should be, too. read more

Staff was completely rude and we sat for 30 min while no one took our order, even after asking multiple times. No idea what was going on as they had plenty of staff that day. We stopped by for breakfast while driving our way up A1A. The food was pretty standard. I had the special; bacon, eggs and a waffle. We sipped on a smooth dark roast from South Africa that went with our mellow morning watching the waves crash to shore. My hubby ate a classic egg and bacon breakfast with potatoes and cinnamon raisin toast while I had a blacked mahi mahi omelette with bacon and cheese. Huge cups and insanely delicious! We moved in to the famous shrimp and grits. I'm from Georgia, and grits is a religion to me. The grits here are creamier than mind. We came here today because my parents moved to the area a year ago, and it had good reviews. I say that because this place is a rip off probably trying to get as much money from tourists as possible. The majority of our dining experience was average... the waitress suggested my husband get his sandwich on a Kaiser roll and asked us if we wanted to fill our daughters chocolate milk (this will be key later). My Philly cheesesteak burrito was good, mom said her veggie burger was good, my stepfather said the chicken in his wrap was tough. Nothing out of the ordinary and we even said when we come back we will try the khalua toast, etc. Then the bill comes. It's $71 which for 4 adults and a child no big deal, but the way the receipt is, it only has prices and not the description of what each price is for. They attached the pad the waitress scribbled on but that didn't explain some of the charges. So we give the bill back and ask what some of the charges are for. Couple minutes later they come out with a new reciept and said one of the duplicate 4.99 charges had something to do with the kids meal, and then she asked how many we ordered and said one kids meal so then she goes back again... now a different person comes back with a totally different reciept with different charges.. now there's two 2.99 charges and a.99 cent charge and we are like what are those??? $2.99 for the chocolate milk with the kids meal (what?? Ok sometimes you Ha e to pay for the kids drink separate..) and another $2.99 FOR A CHOCOLATE MILK REFILL FOR A KIDS MEAL THAT SHE ASKED IF WE WANTED AND THERE WAS NO INDICATION ANYWHERE THAT THERE WAS A REFILL CHARGE??the .99 charge? THE KAISER ROLL THE WAITRESS SUGGESTED BUT NEVER TOLD WAS A FREAKING UPCHARGE. this third person who was dealing with us was like well yes, those are upcharges and we were like no, no one said anything about extra, who charges extra for a roll for your sandwich?? So this third person takes the check and says let's see what we can do and a few minutes later a FOURTH person not the manager just hands us the bill, already charged on the card. The original bill with wrong charges was $71. There was $68 charged to my stepdads card. My mother was very angry and said we wouldn't come back and she spoke with the manager who really didn't care. He said "anywhere you go you should expect upcharges." We dine out weekly and rarely ever have a kids drink not included with a meal much less charged for a refill, or "upcharged" for a Kaiser roll.And, my mother has worked in food/restaurant distribution for over 30 years so she's not someone who doesn't already k ow the ins and outs of the restaurant business. He could care less that locals won't be back or recommend the place because they will continue to nickel and dime the tourists. The food was average so I would recommend someplace else along the beach who won't overcharge you for food that isn't all that. read more
