Still, this place made the trip worthwhile and I enjoyed a nice hot chocolate (and complimentary Halloween-themed shortbread cookie!). The barista was pleasant and answered our questions about the environs. We only checked out the bookstore section briefly though it did have an excellent selection, and even had a typewriter set up for aspiring typists to play around with. As a typewriter owner, it's always cool to see opportunities for the next generation to get a chance to work with these machines (if only so they can appreciate how much easier word processors are when it comes to editing!) I would gladly come back here again, and hopefully take more time to check out the books as well. The store is clean and so are the restrooms. You will need to ask a barista for a code for the restrooms. Seems like a very inclusively welcoming place too. A sign on the front window says braille menus are available and when I visited, there was a list of local resources on the community blackboard. There is a lot of space to enter and get to the counter, though the bathrooms are in a somewhat narrow corner, which could need some maneuvering for a person with limited mobility, especially if the person has a larger mobility device/chair.
