There was a sign out front letting us know they were training and service will be slower than normal. We were glad we waited! Once checked in we were seated in 15 minutes. The waitress was attentive and super nice! We got our drinks quickly and she got our order right away. Hubby and I were on a roadtrip so we went over the plan for the day and discussed highlights so far. Food came out and it was definitely worth the wait. We both got omelette's. Came out hot and perfect. Hubby got biscuit, I got the mini waffles. Had the raspberry jelly/jam. OMG, heaven in your mouth! They sell the jelly/jam, worth the cost! Can't wait to have it at home on crepes, toast, even ice cream! Yummy! If we lived closer this would be a weekly stop for us.

We selected a shrimp Thai soup and a chicken curry hand pie. We also got a goat cheese and fig danish and german cinnamon roll. We had the soup and hand pie tonight and were very pleased. The soup had lots of shrimp and was spicy and flavorful without being too hot. The hand pie was delicious. The pastry was so light and flaky with a delightful butter taste. The curry chicken had a very good flavor and the combination of the two was terrific! I had a small bite of the german cinnamon roll before dinner and, again, the pastry was light and flaky with a great butter flavor. There was a good amount of cinnamon and brown sugar in the roll. I'm going to have more of it later tonight! The young lady behind the counter (I don't remember her name) was very helpful, describing the options well. We chatted with her while we made our choices. We took our food to go so I didn't see the entire store - next time. And there will be a next time!
