The specials are especially great. On my first visit to Mast I tried their churro inspired latte. I loved the cinnamon and brown sugar flavor and especially appreciated that it wasn't 'too sweet to the taste. My wife, who also enjoys coffee with a little less sugar, was impressed with their Tokyo Fog matcha. She really enjoys the natural earthy matcha flavor and the Tokyo Fog gave that to her with some beautiful floral notes. Service was fast and we had our coffees very quickly. The cafe itself is well furnished and would be an incredible place to do some work on the go or just to hang out with friends. The ambiance is calm with some really great decorations around. It's not gaudy at all - just a smooth vibe. The food here is also of high quality. The pastries in the front case look beautiful and also have a rich flavor profile. I had their savory bacon bear claw and it was packed with bacon bits and cheese. Perhaps on my next visit to this location I'll give their kitchen items a try as they looked like they would make a great breakfast.

Great spot for catching up with friends, studying + getting some work done. They had a nice menu with interesting syrups. Service from the two girls working here was amazing. We were greeted and the girl helping us gave us great recommendations. She offered our pup a treat and another girl brought water over for our dog right as I sat down. Super friendly and I really appreciated the quick and friendly service. There is even an outdoor patio! It's huge and has lots of seating!! We got an iced latte with oat milk with the Demerara simple syrup and the yuzu sparkling matcha and it was super refreshing and fizzy! The latte was deep and rich in flavor and was extremely yummy. I would come back to try more drinks! Parking may be tricky since it's mostly street parking in Midtown!;

The people that work there were so cool! I'm thinking about moving to the area and they were really great about giving me a lot of suggestions of neighborhoods to look at. It seems that they specialize in a lot of iced flavored coffees, as that is what I saw most of the people that were there when I was getting. I just wanted a latte with a little bit of honey and cinnamon. Was kind of surprised that they don't carry cinnamon at their shop, that's a coffee shop staple. I did enjoy the latte, though, the roast on the beans was very nice. The vibe in this old home is so cool, lots of people just chatting and hanging out. Was a really great place to pass a little time in a beautiful neighborhood. I would return to this coffee shop. I didn't try any of the pastries that were available, but I did see a case with a selection.

Now, onto the food and drinks. The coffee is exceptional, and the pastries are honestly amongst the best I've ever had. What really blew me away is the value. Honestly my first thoughts were, "why is there a car in here?" but Im sure car enthusiasts would fancy seeing a luxurious prestige vehicle in a cafe and everyone else would find it interesting as it is unusual for a cafe to just have a car right in the middle of its establishment. Their menu isnt overwhelming and only has a few selections, theres good pastries to try out as well. Coffee was alright and the pastries were ok, overall I guess I was just more distracted by the business's set pieces. In any case, check the place out, parking can be a pain if it gets busy, typical downtown sac. Issues.
