I then discovered that my 99 Suburu Outback 30th anniversary had a transmission that was only used one year for that model. As a result, I spent a month trying to find a transmission to replace mine. I almost gave up until I contact Ann at Brighton Truck Parts. She told me that she had one. I asked her to send me pics. I received 3 photos of a perfect transmission with the identical part number on mine. It was the cheapest one I had found and she told me that it would arrive within 7-10 days. A week later, the transmission arrived at my mechanic's shop. Three days later, I had my car back again after not having transportation for 35 days. It came with a warranty and I have been doing a great deal of driving in a variety of situations such as going up steep hills and discovered that it performs perfectly. This can't possibly be legal. I still have both titles and the names of the people who lied , saying the vehicle belonged to them. So I will be taking it to court. However , Colorado recycling towing, should not be taking vehicles without some sort of verification. I could run up and down the street selling random cars , getting paid to sell someone else's vehicles . Apparently it's not illegal . It keeps happening to me.
