We've entrusted Jason with our last two home searches and can't say enough great things about our experience. The first time we worked with Jason was for a condo search in Washington, DC - as my wife and I were establishing our careers. He helped us find a true gem in the city that we loved and later oversaw the sale of the property when our lives took us to California. The condo sold before the first open house and at a great price! Years later, we've turned to Jason again to help us bring our family back to the East Coast and find a home to raise our young children in Maryland. We were initially nervous about conducting a housing search completely remote due to the pandemic, but we quickly felt at ease. Jason skillfully navigated us through the process. He was extremely proactive and responsive to our questions and took the time to understand what we were looking for - even when we weren't so sure ourselves! He patiently showed us a range of options, with many virtual tours, to help us understand what was out there to help focus our search. And when it came time to bid on a home, his knowledge about the market--and the pandemic's impact on housing--helped us make the winning offer. We're so excited to start this new chapter of our lives in a beautiful home that we are so proud of. We owe it to Jason and plan to work with him again for any new search. Though, it may be a while. We love our place! If you're looking for a real estate agent who will truly be a partner in the process, we highly recommend you contact Jason. We're glad we did! read more

If I could give six stars, I would. As a first time home-seller, I was nervous about the process, but Jason made everything incredibly easy. His recommendations for vendors (painting, staging, etc.) were spot on, and my apartment sold faster than I could have believed possible! Everything was handled wonderfully and with little to no effort on my end. If you're looking to sell a home in the DC area, I could not recommend Jason more highly. read more

An excellent agent whose systematic approach to everything -- advising, pricing, prepping, staging, selling -- got my condo sold within days and at a great price. His network is excellent: photographer, contractor (for touchup work), closing agent, etc. Everything was the best. read more

I met Jason years ago when I was living in the same building with him. I kept bumping into him in open houses and found he was extremely knowledgeable and kind. When I decided to sell my condo, he was naturally the first person I thought of. Because of the rather slow loan situation of the buyer, the whole process took much longer than I expected. I didn't mind as much since the buyer was also my then tenant (btw, Jason helped me find her!) and kept paying rent. Jason was super patient and helpful throughout the process and helped me close the deal without me worrying about a thing. I really enjoyed my experience with Jason and would recommend him to everyone! read more

Jason is a realtor without the fast talk. I appreciated that. And he was a pleasure to work with him. His deep understanding of DC real estate, especially NW, plus his connections with buyers resulted in the easiest sale I have ever experienced despite it being a difficult market. His years in the field means Hason has seen every kind of selling environment, and can respond to any scenario that would befuddle novice agents. Jason is patient and generous with both his insights and advice and he's always communicative and responsive. If he is your agent he is all in. I endorse him without hesitation. read more

Jason helped us buy our first home during the red hot pandemic market of spring 2021. From the get go, Jason was knowledgeable, easy going, and available. He really helped us narrow and focus our search to find the perfect home for our family, and we genuinely enjoyed going out to look at houses with him! He never pushed us to go for anything we weren't 100% on board for, and we felt like he sincerely cared about us finding a home we're happy with. When it came time to make an offer, Jason was extremely savvy about each unique situation and helped us structure the most competitive offer that best fit our circumstances. We highly recommend working with Jason to buy your next home. He's the real deal! read more

We have now worked with Jason through 3 real estate transactions and couldn't recommend him more enthusiastically. What we value most of all is his incredible expertise, patience with a 1000 questions and speedy responsiveness. When we were buying our first home, Jason was so helpful in guiding us through the process, with wisdom that would set us up for long-term success. Despite our meager budget, he was able to find us incredible listings in a wide range of neighborhoods, and he impressively negotiated a deal on our behalf. When it came time to sell that home, he once again guided us through the process, despite the challenges of the pandemic, and manage to secure us an incredible offer. He most recently helped us buy our 2nd home, and once again he has and continues to be an invaluable resource of guidance and support. If you are looking for someone to support you through the real estate process, and skillfully execute deals, be sure to work with Jason Skipworth. read more

When it comes to real estate in DC, Jason Skipworth is top notch. Jason helped me with my purchase years ago and then recently helped me sell my condo. I was living in another city and Jason made everything simple and easy. He explained the process and then put everything into action. He connected me with a great repair team to get everything fixed up, staged it to perfection, and delivered several above-asking price offers within 48 hours of it going on the market. Simple, fast, efficient and effective -- what else do you need? If you're going to buy or sell in DC, look no further. 100% endorsement of Jason and his work! read more

We really loved working with Jason. He's a fantastic realtor who really knows the DMV market. As first time home buyers, there was a lot to learn and understand. Jason did a fantastic job helping us navigate the complex housing market. Jason was patient throughout the whole process, and helped us find our first home. We could not recommend Jason enough to anyone looking for a house in the DMV area. read more

As first time home buyers, naturally we asked all of our close friends who have bought in and around DC for recommendations. We called and met those recommendations and immediately knew Jason was our guy. Jason drove all the way to our side of town to meet us for over and hour to discuss what we wanted and share a bit about himself. He took so much time and care in making us feel comfortable and explain how the whole process would work. As we approached our target buying date, Jason took us on tailored journeys throughout the city. He was always on time and super communicative via email and text. We changed our minds about what we wanted a few times and there was zero judgement from him - in fact, he knew how to pivot our search perfectly and proactively reached out when a home came on the market he thought we'd like. He nailed our taste with many homes, but we were nervous buyers with a bit of cold feet and he stuck with us through many many houses. One afternoon, we noticed a house we loved that had just been put on the market hours before and emailed him about it. The next morning, he asked if we could run up to the house within that next hour, and off we were to see what would be our first home. He gave us the time and space to talk alone and come back to him. When we did, he was ready to ROLL! Had a great network of pre-offer inspectors and lenders and out of several offers, we had the most competitive the second day the house was on the market, pre-inspection in hand. Personally, Jason is super nice, funny and has a calming aura about him. I say calming in particular, because our journey wasn't without a few freak-outs and late night calls asking Jason if we'd lost our mind trying to buy a house. He was so reassuring and not pushy in any way. If we have to buy another house in the future, we will definitely be reaching out to Jason again. We recommend him highly to anyone, first time homebuyer or not. read more

I'm delighted to recommend Jason Skipworth, who sold my apartment in Washington DC in under two weeks from going on the market. Jason is the consummate professional. He was extremely consultative throughout the entire process, which was especially important in my case as I was selling remotely from the West Coast. Jason constantly kept me apprised of the current situation and provided some great advice. read more

Jason helped me sell my DC condo in 2017 and helped me buy my new Del Ray house in 2020. He listened to what I was looking for in a new home, sent me lot of listings to review and made well-timed appts to see houses. He also guided me though the crazy DC buying process which even as a 3rd time home buyer, was very helpful. Through all of this, Jason is fun to spend time with, which is important as house buying is often not a fast process so you will be spending a good amount of time together. I recommend Jason to anyone looking to buy or sell their home. read more

I was recommended to Jason from a coworker and am very happy to be writing this review from the couch in my new condo! Jason took the time to listen to what I was looking for in a condo and to show me options within my price range. I never felt like I was being pushed towards what he thought was best for me; rather, he happily showed my the final contenders a second time to make sure I would feel comfortable with my decision. As a first time homebuyer, I was nervous about working with a realtor. Jason was able to explain the process and make it simple to execute. He also worked hard with the Greater Washington Urban League to coordinate timely delivery of HPAP funds. I would highly recommend him to friends and family. read more

This review is long overdue. Jason helped my husband and me sell our one-bedroom co-op in Dupont in June 2016. He was very personable and made the process very easy. He recommended companies to paint and stage our unit, which helped us to sell at a price we were happy with. He also patiently answered my litany of questions and helped to deal with vendors after we had moved out. It sold after a short period of time, and Jason helped us work through the negotiation process. I would highly recommend his services! read more

A friend of ours referred us to Jason, and after doing a little bit of "speed dating" with a couple realtors, Jason was an easy pick. Jason was incredibly easy to work with and was so patient with my husband and I. As mildly anxious first time homebuyers, Jason expertly guided us through the process, and answered all of our (MANY) questions. Jason went above and beyond to ensure that each step of the buying process went smoothly, and even took the time from his personal vacation to guide us through our offer and contingencies. Jason is approachable, organized, knowledgeable, professional, and has a great personality. We would whole heartedly recommend Jason to anyone looking to buy or sell in the DC area. read more

We had a very positive experience buying our first home with Jason. We strongly and passionately recommend Jason for anyone looking to buy OR sell a house. We have worked with Jason as both buyers and sellers. When we were looking for our first house ever, Jason was such a comfort to have by our side. He is clearly an expert in the DC market. Not only that, Jason quickly picked up on our style and taste, even if we could not describe it ourselves. He was never pushy, always patient, and always honest about his opinions. Because of Jason, we found our perfect first home. When it came time for us to move, Jason knew exactly how we should present our house to be incredibly competitive in the market. He really knew what buyers would be looking for, and within a few days, as Jason predicted, we had sold our house above asking! Between buying and selling our house, Jason became a friend we could always reach out to for any recommendations related to our house. We genuinely recommend working with Jason. read more

My Husband and I used Jason Skipworth as our restate agent for our recent home purchase in DC. We were looking in the DC and Maryland area for a home and we lucked out having Jason on our team. He is extremely knowledgeable about the market and was patient and worked on our timeline. Jason went out of his way to be available to us, answering all or our questions, meeting us in the evenings and weekends to show us properties, and talking us through all the steps long the way. This was our first home purchase and I don't think we could have had a better partner. Jason made the whole process run smoothly and he was responsive and efficient in working with our lender and Title Company. He listened to our wants and needs and helped us find the perfect place for us. We are so happy we found him and we can't recommend his services highly enough! read more

Phenomenal. I'm a harsh critic so if I have praise this high, it is WELL deserved. Nothing for me to worry about from start to finish. Jason took care of everything AND KEPT ME INFORMED THROUGHOUT! There was a snag 100% the fault of the buyers title company, and Jason fixed it and got them on track with no hassle to me. Highest recommendation ever. He was dead on right with the sale price and gave me three options to choice from and it played out exactly as he predicted AND IT WAS UNDER CONTRACT IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS WITH 2 OFFERS!!! Jason is also so much fun to work with and a great guy. I've used him for a home purchase and a home sale and I'd never use anyone else for a sale or purchase in the D.C. area. He's the best of the best. He also only works with the best of the best for repairs, staging etc. I couldn't be a happier customer. I got more than I thought I would, primarily do to Jason's recommendations for staging AND a didn't do I bunch of unnecessary changes that I thought that I would have to do but he recommended against (since the buyer would probably gut that area anyway). 10 out of 10. 100 out of 100. read more

Where to begin. Jason was recommended to me through a close friend and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Being a first time home buyer, I had so many questions about the market, financing process, you name it, and Jason was incredibly patient with me. He took the time to explain things and I was always impressed by his responsiveness. I'd send him an email or text with a quick question and he would often get back to me within minutes. I felt like he was truly my partner and on my side and not just trying to close the deal and move on to the next one. If you're looking for someone who knows the DC market in and out, can serve as your friend and advocate, I highly recommend Jason for your real estate needs. Jason is the consummate real estate professional. As a Realtor myself, coming from out of state, I could not have asked for someone to provide more guidance and information. i loved working with Jason. He really gets to know exactly what you are looking for in a home, and then works extremely hard to find it. As I am not known for my ease with decision-making, he is also very patient! Probably the best thing about Jason is that he does not come off as a typical Realtor - he's not (and here I am stereotyping a bit) the loud pushy high-pressure salesman so typical in that field. He is a real person who takes time to get to know you and is honest and relatable. I highly recommend Jason if you are looking to buy in the city. read more
