It's very hard to find a chiropractor who really specializes in TMJ. This review is waaay overdue…read more Back in 2011, I was in a major car accident wherein my car spun 360 degrees. As a result, I was diagnosed with reverse curve on my neck which meant I had to go to several chiro sessions that unfortunately didn't heal the root cause. After using the 20 sessions covered under my health insurance, I was still experiencing neck pain that starts from my shoulders and travels up to my neck. The only relief at the time was to crack my neck multiple times, by tilting my head side to side and front to back. I had gone to several doctors to help relieve my pain for good but no luck at the time. I was willing to travel even out of the country, as long as my pain goes away. Then one evening, I saw a tv ad about fibromyalgia and I started researching on the internet. That was when I came across the Atlas Othogonality website which showed 3 video testimonials from people who have been experiencing chronic neck & back pain. One of them was TV host Montel Williams and the other Dr. Travis Stork, and after watching all 3 testimonials - I was really desperate to be pain-free and figured it won't hurt to schedule a consultation after the glowing reviews. As I walked in Dr Roch's office he had testimonial book with handwritten reviews from his patients all over the world. He was the only doctor who took an xray of of my whole head (top, front, side & back). All the other chiropractors took side only. I told Dr Roch that I wish my results will be the same as most of those people who didn't come back for treatment for over 5 years or so. He said, every patient is different and that he wants to set the right expectation but the highest compliment is if he were not to see my face anymore. The xray results showed my atlas was off by a few degrees. The atlas bone is what holds our head so if/when this is not in aligment, then we're bound to feel pain. This procedure was painless (unlike a regular chiropractic treatment where they crack your neck & back). He performed a couple of other gentle treatments & measured my feet to make sure everything is in alignment. I only had to go once a week for 3 weeks and after that I didn't go for several months. Let me just say this, even though I had to pay out of my own pocket, I saved lots of money getting this treatment over regular chiro treatments. From 2011-2023, I have only been to Dr. Roch maybe 10 times. When I used to go for regular chiro treatments, I was going 2-3 times a week for about 4 months. I wasted so much money because I didn't know about atlas orthogonal chiro treatment. The Atlas Orthogonal technique is a very gentle and precise method that corrects any misalignment within the upper cervical spine using the atlas orthogonal percussion instrument.
