I've ordered from Meal Village a couple times and had great experiences including ordering online…read morewhich was very easy. Both times the food arrived EXACTLY at 4pm and was top quality with good portions for most. My dad recently needs to be on a lower sodium diet so it's nice to provide 1-2 meals per week for him with no commitment- he usually eats only half of the portion per meal and can easily know the sodium content. My wife and I have tried a few of the meals and been happy with everything - sometimes calories and fat/sodium can be a bit higher than my wife prefers for a single meal but you have all the info before ordering. There's always a salmon option, and a recent "Retro Fried Chicken Bowl" was great if slightly unhealthier than ideal but had a nice portion of well cooked chicken and included a fantastic smothered sauce plus the side of applesauce was chunky, flavorful, and just as good as we would make at home. If you don't make your own applesauce this will show you why you should do it. Nothing but positive so far, and prices generally seem consistent with the "ready to cook" options in the market but you have much less packaging waste and don't need to spend a bunch of time cooking and cleaning up which can be nice during the week. Most dishes are 2-3 minutes heating up in the microwave and end up great. Don't get me wrong, we love to cook but I prefer to use my own recipes and for my dad with limited mobility a quick, healthier microwave meal or a "soft food" option is important. And for my wife and me, this is a nice supplement to our weeknight meals. Bravo to a great local business worth supporting!

Tonight, we tried Bangkok Thai Exp due to the high ratings. They let you seat yourself in the very…read morelimited seating area (3 booths). The initial impression is that the place is clean. Upon sitting, we were immediately seated. Their menu has plenty of choices. I ordered the garlic chicken and egg rolls (4 to an order). My better half got the Basil Chicken. Her basil chicken was delicious and plenty on the quantity as well! The basil didn't overpower the dish but delivered a perfect amount of minty basil flavor. My garlic chicken was crispy, and maybe a little dry but the flavor was great. The garlic was great in the chicken... but fantastic in the broccoli and veggies'. The only thing I would ding them on is that the garlic chicken quantity seemed skimpy compared to hers. The egg rolls were awesome and their sweet and sour had a little no heat spice to it!!! Yum! Overall, we liked the food. I'd give hers 5 stars and mine 4. One thing I almost dinged them to 3 stars (my average), was that the small dining area froze every time the door opened. Thai Express is absolutely worth checking out!

I got it with mild spice and it's the perfect amount of spice. All around perfect! I've ordered from here several times and I pretty much have loved everything I've had so far. Service is outstanding and everyone is always friendly. They are polite, helpful, kind and almost make up the difference in price. Unfortunately, you cannot eat kindness. They are always a very clean store. Shelves are stocked adequately and there is clean signage making it easy to see what's on sale. I would like to know the cost per oz, per lb, per serving like many stores do which helps identify the true value compared to other brands. Not the unfortunate thing is this, as I have mentioned before on some specific items, which is hit or miss for me. Recently, purchased two chicken portobello wraps, a chicken breast wrapping cheese and portobello mushrooms. They looked great and there are other combos as well, but thought this would be a yummy and easy server for dinner. Note this: they have zero seasoning, flavor and don't trust your eyes on how they are assembled. By the looks it looked like there were plenty of cheese and mushrooms, not so. There were 4 slices of portobello on the visible end and that's it. The rest was just cheese which just melts out onto your pan beneath the chicken (which is also dry). I followed the baking directions and just was so bland and uninspiring. Even tried to save it with my own last second seasoning but the chicken was dry and meh. Nice concept but poor execution. Lesson learned.

I love that everything is provided so no searching and measuring. Staffvery helpful and pleasant. Pricing on staples is a bit high but Deli and specials are reasonable. I tell my friends about it all the time because of the ease of preparation with their meals. All fresh but need to be cooked. So easy. Other than the price, I do not understand why someone would leave a bad review. If that is the case, just watch what you purchase. Not the place to by your basics for me, but otherwise it is a 5 star store for me.
