When I went in complaining of toothache recently, he examined my teeth and ran a series of diagnostic tests (hot/cold, tapping, and x-rays) to determine just exactly what I needed, and in the end he referred me to an endodontist because that is what I needed. She was able to get me in the following Wednesday. The practice is made of 2 brothers. I saw Amir. Dr. Amir did a thorough examination. He spent well into an hour along with his assistant to explain to me my choices. He answered every question. I've been under the care of these brothers going on a decade. My husband is also a patient. If you need dental care look no further. Their practice covers the usual dental care along with Invisiline, Veneer and beyond. They and their lab together, time after time, create dental restorations that give way to the "aha!" moment. I usually see Tammy the hygienist for my cleanings. I returned only to be told that Amir Koopah no longer wanted to do my procedure. So unprofessional and unethical to not allow for the patient to attain a second opinion. He is basically implying that since you left for a second opinion, I do not wish to help you. He has a God complex and it's unfortunate that these shady characters are left in charge of our health. From…read more the start of making my first appointment with Marcella in their Pinole location, I was greeted in a very friendly and compassionate manner and she was able to get me an emergency appointment for the following day which was VERY appreciated! At my appointment in Orinda I was warmly received by Misha.The office was very CLEAN, Sanitary and Covid-19 guidelines being followed, ie: hand sanitizing, taking of temperatures and social distancing and scheduling staggered appointment times. I was seen by Dr. Nesari and his assistant Jennifer. Both had a awesome bedside manner and were able to make me feel comfortable and cared for. I myself have been in the dental field for 20+ years always the assistant or front office but never the patient. I was really nervous, But Dr. Nesari & Jennifer totally explained everything and put my mind at ease. Dr. Nesari made sure I was numb the entire time and this procedure was pretty much painless, minus getting numb which can't be avoided. He went above and beyond by giving his after hours phone number in case I needed him or more pain meds. Thankfully the Root canal was successful and I was totally fine later that evening and in the days to follow. I cannot Thank EVERY ONE @ Endo Group enough for getting me out of pain! At the end of my visit, I paid around $150 for their consultation despite of having two insurances. Then they said I own another $120 since the insurances didn't cover the expanse. It turns out the insurance has covered part of it. So, they send remaining to collections.
