I decided to give this office a try, based on the wonderful yelp and google reviews. As someone who is a big dentist nervous nelly, it was important that I find a new dentist that could handle my crazy. LOL. My previous dentist stopped taking my insurance so the search began. And boy did I luck out! I had my first cleaning, and also went in to have them fix a chipped front tooth. I saw Dr Mathew's, and she is fabulous! So sweet, super gentle, and did a fantastic job on my front tooth! It looks fantastic! The entire staff was absolutely wonderful! I live in Alameda and work in SF, so their office is a bit of a drive for me, but totally worth it! The office is in a super pretty area, and parking was easy. read more

The best! Other staff has a very gentle touch. I even fall asleep during my procedures. Staff are detail-oriented. They seem to have the latest equipment. Plus there's a massage chair in the lobby, but you can use for free. I recommend the think mode lol. I go early just to use it. read more

I've been going to The Natural Tooth office for over a decade and every visit has been a positive experience. There is little to no wait time, and I always feel welcome and enjoy catching up with the staff (I consider Marie like one of my aunties). My hygienist, Tran, Dr. Jardine, and Dr. Matthews (as well as their assistants) are knowledgeable and thorough, and I really appreciate how Dr. Matthews remembers personal details about me - I feel like this team genuinely cares. Unless I move away from the area, I can't imagine going anywhere else for my dental needs. read more

As someone previously mentioned, I never thought I'd be thrilled to write a review for a dentist practice, but here I am. Dr. Rebecca and team are a joy and extremely professional. I've never felt so at ease in a dentist office before. I've been "upsold" at other dentist offices previously, or prescribed procedures that were questionable, not here. I was also given for the first time earlier this year, a deep gum cleaning, which was never recommended to me before at any other office, but drastically improved my gum health and look 100 fold! First I have to say that as a former Dr. Dillingham (retired) patient I was very excited to see that Marie works with Dr. Jardine. If you're lucky enough to have them both at the front when you come in you'll feel like you're visiting old friends. Which is weird to say about a Dentist office. But it's true, plus the professionalism and care of those who work on Dr. Jardine's patients with her is unmatched. I was so excited to go see Dr Rebecca at her new practice. They followed strict COVID guidelines but still made my visit warm and personable. I haven't been her patient for awhile so I had to do full X-rays, but even that was ok because a long time ago Dr Rebecca gave me a technique to stop any feelings of nausea that I get during the X-ray or dental appointment and I used it! What I liked best about my visit was the recommendation and follow up. Dr Rebecca could see the beginning of a cavity on one of my teeth but instead of recommending a filling, she recommended I change my mouthwash to a fluoride one and that she would re examine the tooth on my next visit. Dr Rebecca explained that sometimes teeth can 'heal' without having to have a filling!! I was completely satisfied with my visit and immediately told my Sister in Law (who lives close to The Natural Tooth) that her and her family should go see Dr Rebecca. Focusing on needs, using updated equipment, concern for patient comfort... are all part of their DNA. I had a great first experience with The Natural Tooth in Lafayette. Dr. Jardine has taken the practice over from Dr. Dillingham. I needed some dental work after having a cleaning and x-rays. Dr. Jardine explained the problem and gave me suggestions on the next best step. We decided that having a couple of crowns would be the best step forward. She preformed the work, it was absolutely painless. I returned for the permanent crowns and could not be more pleased. On my next cleaning appointment she made a point to check on the work she did and follow up some other concerns. Dr. Jardine is a very caring and personable dentist.
