There was no real apology or accountability, and the dismissive responses I received were incredibly rude. Communication matters when PAYING customers plan their entire day around a service. When I arrived in San Diego, there were several cleaning concerns (ceiling splatters and grease in cupboards and above the stove) that were able to be removed with my cleaning products, so it seems a minor oversight. My main issue is that in each bedroom there appeared to be a rust colored staining on the carpet in each entryway and streaks in other areas of the room. Online appears to suggest wicking or some other byproduct of a machine-cleaned carpet. I contacted the company with pictures and was in contact over text message hoping that they would stand by their work and make it right, however I was responded with reasons that it wasn't their fault and then was ghosted with no reply when I asked why this wasn't brought up in the initial phone call when work was initially completed. If the carpets could not be cleaned, instead of taking money, it would've been better to refuse to do the service and recommend a different one (e.g. replace). The missed spots on the cleaning I could've ignored. But, not standing by your work on the carpets, not working to make it right, and being unresponsive are what I wasn't able to let go.

We moved in and found that the unit was not thoroughly cleaned from when the previous renters lived there so we did some research and decided to hire Fresh-n-Home. I had high hopes for this company because the other reviews were outstanding, but unfortunately I was disappointed. The unit was empty when we hired them to come in and clean so I didn't think they'd have any issues finding the areas that needed to be deep-cleaned. There was candle wax splattered on the walls and floors; caked on grease on the cabinets; food splattered on the wall above the stove; a brown ring in the toilet; mold on the dishwasher; among other things. To their credit, they were able to remove the mold from the dishwasher and the brown ring in the toilet, but everything else appeared to be untouched. In fact, they even broke one of the handles on our toilet and left the pieces on the bathroom counter. I found it rude that they didn't mention the damage once they had left, so I emailed Kelly and she was courteous and offered to send the girls back to clean and fix what was missed. Keep in mind, the first time they came they spent about 4.5 hours "cleaning" the house. A couple days later they came back and fixed the toilet handle and wiped the food splatter off the wall. There was still wax on the wall and she asked me if I would like her to remove it, I said yes. She told me the first time they were there they weren't able to get the grease off the cabinets because we didn't have any hot water since the water heater wasn't turned on. By the end of it, we still had grease on our cabinets and our floors were dirty (even though I saw her mop). They just didn't seem as thorough as advertised. And we were charged $292.50...

I had been searching for a house cleaner for awhile, but felt like I was trying to be sold something and was just a number. I felt Kelly's service was personalized and they worked around my schedule. We talked after the service to make sure I was happy and they leave a checklist of every item they cleaned. My apartment looks amazing.. they even took care of things that I had troubled getting stains out of such as my oven and toilet. I would recommend their services and plan on using them again soon!!
