Michael stood out immediately for his honesty, integrity, knowledge, and genuine commitment to customer service. He drove from Chula Vista to Carlsbad to inspect our HVAC system and took the time to carefully access and inspect the difficult-to-reach evaporator coil and blower motor. After doing so, he honestly told me that **neither needed to be cleaned**. He could have easily performed the work we had scheduled and charged me, but instead he recommended that it was unnecessary. I even offered to pay him for his time and long drive, and he refused. He was also incredibly knowledgeable about our older HVAC system and caught an issue with advice we had received from another company that could potentially have damaged our exterior unit. He clearly knows his craft and, more importantly, puts the customer's interests first. Called Same Day when my 28 year old AC gave up and so far I have no regrets. Alan was the…read moretechnician who initially diagnosed my issue and explained the challenge, the coolant was no longer legal in CA. Alan was very knowledgeable and I never felt pressured. Concerns with my gas heater led me to decide to replace all. Michael came out to speck a new system. He did a thorough walk through and we reviewed options. I never felt pressured. BTW, this was not through Home Depot. I settled on a Daikin heat pump & return air. The following week Moises and Gilbert showed up to install. In one day they removed my old units and installed new system. It worked great when they left but 45 minutes later an error displayed on my new thermostat. Moises and Gilbert returned the next day and did some troubleshooting. Thought they had found the problem and left with the unit running. Ten minutes after they left it errored out again. Came back a third time and meticulously traced all lines outside, in the attic and under my house. Apparently the drain pipes in my almost 60 year old home were no longer at an adequate angle to properly expell the excess water. I thought I was going to have to engage a plumber. But Moises and Gilbert cleverly solved the problem by installing a small pump on the unit. They did not charge me for this and it was well after 6:00 pm when they left. If not for their tenacity and creativity I'm not sure where I would be. It's well over a week and my system is running great! I'm very happy with my new unit and very, very happy with all the tech's involved, especially Moises and Gilbert!
