The grocery store was very nice today and very well stocked. This HEB is not as big as the Round Rock H-E-B, but it's still nice. They have a good variety of most items. Some items that I buy at round rock were not available at this store, but I bought other items in place of them. They have a bakery that's quite impressive. Their meat department is also top-of-the-line. They make their own tortillas and bread. They have a nice deli. (I bought lunch!) They have plants outside. They have flowers and toys and make up! They have just about everything you would need. You can cash checks there. The prices are good and their produce, and groceries are well taken care of. You can buy some organic products here, or non-organic. Their employees are very kind and helpful. I like this store. My previous review was only the pharmacy. I don't care for their pharmacy. The service I've gotten there has been less than adequate and they only sell generic prescriptions. I prefer name brand.

Vic's Grocery popped up as having a deli, pizza & burger counter inside. The reviews were mixed, but not too many were recent. I decided to give it a go. I was greeted by a friendly worker when I entered, and found the food service by following the yummy smell of onions cooking. I went for a bacon cheeseburger & some fries. $9.27 out the door before a tip. The cook was great & accomodared all of my requests. I told the cashier that I was going to wait outside with my dog & I'd be back inside in about 5 min for my food. About 3 min later, the cook came out the door & delivered my food to me! Great service, tasty burger & fries. I'll be back to try some other menu items soon! Don't let the outside discourage you from going in. It's a bit old looking. It's worth going in! A few of the vegetables they had this morning were 3 types of zucchinis, a special Texan butternut-type squash, green beans, bok choy, French sorrel, garlic chives, cucumber, carrots, and likely more I'm forgetting. The prices were very very fair and I think even lower than grocery store organic, plus you're supporting a small local farm. They also offer other carefully selected items like olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and a few bulk grains.
