I bought my first home 3 1/2 years ago. I truly loved my new space but didn't know where to start. The previous owners style was stuck in my head: taupe and white walls throughout the home with a combination of antique and modern furniture with minimal color. Classic and safe, cool, but not me!! Jared is amazing! He's fast, focused, full of great ideas, and quickly gets a sense for what we are looking for, and can speak to it! We used his council over 5 years ago to create a gallery wall. SO MANY people complimented us on that wall, which was in our entry way. It really set a great tone for our home! Jared Rohrer truly deserves a TEN STAR rating. Words simply cannot express my genuine gratitude for the service I received working alongside Jared for the better part of 18 months. Our working relationship began when my husband showed me a home he would like to purchase, but the entire interior of the house (style, to colors, to feel, to flow) was the OPPOSITE of what I was wanting to invest in for what was to be our "forever" home that we would raise our family in. Due the land proper, this was a home my husband very much wanted and begged me to reconsider. I had heard wonderful things about Jared from friends, so I reached out to him to see if he could walk through the home with me and give me his thoughts is updating it to my style was feasible or not. Jared promptly messaged me back and within days we had an appointment to meet at the home. He spent two hours walking through every room, nook, and cranny, explaining his visions and showing me how I truly could transform this house into my dream vision. We bought the house and Jared and I got right to work. I can honestly say it was his expertise, vision, creativity, and skillfulness that transformed my homo into exactly what I would have built had we not purchased the existing home. On multiple scheduled dates, we tackled projects one at a time ... starting from biggest to smallest in terms of budget and priority. He went with me to paint stores, helped me shop for cabinet pulls, suggested backsplash, and even on one occasion sat with me at my computer while we selected the perfect dining tables to fit the style I was trying to create. There are a number of things that were updated in this house that WOULDN'T have turned out as beautifully if I hadn't had his trained eye assisting me though each step. For example, I wanted a gray paint. The paint I picked he said once it was up on the walls in the light I had in the room, I wouldn't like. He suggested another one. It didn't appear in the can or on the swatch the color I was going for ... but he had listened INTENTLY to what I had wanted and I trusted him, so I went with him and chose that color. And to this day it's my favorite thing about my house! I receive compliments ALL THE TIME on my paint color and and frequently asked about it by friends who are painting their homes. From the biggest to the smallest details, Jared was there to LISTEN to what I want then deliver exceptional service in a friendly and professional manner. Because of Jared, the home I was hesitant about is now truly my dream home. And because of his wise (and budget friendly) suggestions, we have increased the resale value of our home. The only thing I WISH I still had was him living in the Tri-Cities! I am so eager to continue working with him, I will work with him via Skype for small projects or wait for him to come to town for big projects. Jared is absolutely amazing to work with. I didn't have a ton of money to spend but needed some updates. First he came in and moved some furniture and accessories around from different parts of the house, giving a whole new life to some things I was previously bored with. Then he went through and gave me a list of things to be looking for to purchase over the next few months. He was spot on with all if it. I think the first thing I said to Jared when he came over last week to give me a design consultation was "it's complicated." I decided to start a big project right before the holidays, repurposing two rooms to make room for someone to move in and then I kept growing the project to include a bathroom and some changes to my living room. Furniture and miscellaneous stuff was everywhere and I was losing sight of my plans. I hired him for paint color consultation as a start and he did so much more in the time we had, including helping me with furniture placement, window treatments, and lighting. He made suggestions that were exactly fitting my taste but that I wouldn't have thought of on my own. I was overwhelmed before Jared came and now everything feels manageable and joyful and exciting.
