I purchased a ring and after second thought I wanted to return it, turned out it was the 32nd day from when I had purchased it so they said they could not do a full return only exchange for equal or greater value. Even on the day I went in they said I can speak to the manager the following day. The next day I called in to make sure she was there before I drove to the location and they said she was currently with a customer so they took my phone number down, almost 2 hours went by and didn't receive a call so I called back and then I was put on hold for another 15 minutes just for the manager to say the same bs all over again, why did the employee refer me to the manager then if the manager was right away going to blow me off like that? My Wife went to this location to get her annual cleaning for her Ring. This was her second visit in the last couple of months. Both times they said she had to leave it for a few days because they are still backed up from the holidays, and also had some "renovations" done to the location (She did not feel comfortable leaving her wedding ring there for that long). Even if that were true the attitude and overall lack of customer service is enough for me to give one star and my wife's overall disappointment has me never wanting go back there for any future purchases! Horrible customer service! My fiancé got my engagement ring here, and they charged him for an extra warranty he didn't ask for. When he went to ask for an explanation, they basically told him that he signed the agreement for the warrantee, but they couldn't show him the warranty agreement because they didn't have it. You might be asking, why didn't he read what he signed? The answer is simple; they did not give him a paper to read over, they verbally asked him if he wanted it or not, so when he said no the sales lady asked him to signed the digital signing pad to deny the warranty. My advice: if you decide to get anything from this store, make sure you know you what you're signing for or verbally agreeing to. read more

The moment I came in I was directed to one service desk. The assistant told me to go to another part of the store . I kept walking back and forth. Came in to clean my diamond ring that I purchased from them. Took the store clerk 10 min to look for it on their computer system because she couldn't find it. Clearly not very good with computers . Had to keep explaining to her that it was custom made from a band and an earring but all she could find was the band under my name. Still refused to clean and do the maintenance check. I have read the reviews about the staff not being friendly.. I will say that although I didn't think they were horrible, they aren't the best at customer service. I recently when it to get my wedding rings cleaned and noticed that I was missing a diamond. It took a good 5 minutes to get someone to help me, even after I made eye contact several times with a man that looked like a manager. He then said 'oh no ones come to help you, I'll get someone.' Finally the lady came over and took my rings to look at. I was explaining to her about the diamond and was teasing that I'd been so worried all day and was panicking about it. I was trying to be silly and lighten the awkward mood but she responded rather with 'you're panicking for no reason.' Obviously I didn't win her over but I continued to be friendly and joke around and I think she started to loosen up a little bit. She was apologetic about the process taking so long and explained each step she was doing to me. Which I appreciated! While I would say they have 5 star customer service, they don't have the worst! She even gave me some advice on how to clean my pandora bracelet! They replaced my diamond free of charge and my ring looks absolutely perfect. When I came to pick it up, I read my serial number and was on my way! I would recommend coming to this place for their wide selection in jewelry and just keep in mind that this isn't in n out and not everyone wants you to have the best experience! read more

We went here to look for an aniversary gift and my wife was with an older lady looking at rings and my daughter and I where looking at other stuff, when we left we where both talking about how both of the sales ladies where both pushy. It's 11/15/2018 and I still haven't received a credit back for the price difference. Told Jared I'm going to return the necklace and they told me I was outside the 30 day return window so I can not return. Seriously? Stay away from Jared and if your man says "he went to Jared" send him back within 30 days to take whatever he bought you back, they are overpriced and won't back up their jewelry. read more

All they care about is making money. Sold my poor fiance an overpriced engagement ring and did not even explain to him that due to the style we would be limited to only 2 wedding bands. Which are both completely out of our budget. I can't even go somewhere else to get a cheaper one because then there will be a huge gap between the rings. When i brought up the issue of them not explaining this to him from the start all they said was "we were selling him an engagement ring. We weren't worried about the wedding band at that time." Even knowing my Aunt and Uncle had a bad experience with Jared nearly 15 years ago I thought my experience would be better. Nope. My sister and I went into this location to order our parents new, engraved wedding bands for their anniversary. They had my mom's size in stock but my dad's would have to be ordered and we would have to return for it another day. When filling out the paperwork for the engraved rings I was given one sheet to fill out and our sales associate copied the information to the page for second ring since they were getting the same engraving. The sheet I filled out was placed with my dad's ring and the associate's sheet was placed with my mom's. We were told they could engrave mom's ring onsite and to come back at 5pm that same day to pick it up. The sales associate failed to mark an engraving font for my mom's ring and instead of reaching out to me via my cell phone number that I provided they proceed to engrave with the DEFAULT font which I did not choose and did not want. At the time I told myself that I should have insisted on doing all the paperwork and should therefore share some of the blame. NO. I filled out everything the sales associate asked me to and trusted that as a paying customer they would fulfill my order to my instruction. They did offer to order a new ring and have it done with the correct font but because we wanted the ring for that weekend and my sister said the default font looked fine we left with that ring. A ring which is perfectly fine and my mom does love it. We updated the paperwork for my dad's ring to match the incorrect font they used on mom's. My dad's ring, like I said, was ordered and the receipt copy I have shows a hand-written Promise Date of 3/10/15. Today is that day and, guess what, the ring is not done and they tell me over the phone that their original receipt shows a Promise Date of 3/18/15. The polite girl they have answering their phones and talking to the customers could not offer me any other information than "your ring is not here yet" and "I don't know why the dates are different" which no matter how true does nothing to provide me a solution. After asking to speak with a manager I was passed to Vicki (sp?) who took my office phone number and called me back after reaching out to whatever the offsite location is. Vicki explained that the ring had not been shipped yet and that even with putting a rush order on it the deliverery would still be closer to the 18th as the rush orders have upto a 48hour window for notification. I thanked her for her time and promptly logged in here to provide honest feedback. Seems that even after 15 years their attention to detail and customer service are still piss-poor. Don't get jewelry repaired here! I took in my fiancées ring to be resized and it came back with a dent in the white gold. I didn't notice it myself but my fiancée which has experience with jewelry noticed it right away. On top of this the rings pearl began to loosen 2 weeks after it had been repaired here. My bestie and her husband bought me a "just because you are a awesome friend gift"! I thought it was really thoughtful to start me up a Pandora charm bracelet, specially since my charm bracelet from when I was a teen is long gone (I think someone took it). Unfortunately, it was sitting uber awkward on my wrist and can roll right off. Probably not if I had the entire thing with charms, but I don't think I'll get there anytime soon and not sure if I even want mine that filled. The lady helping me out was really nice and patient. I don't really know much about Pandora so she let me try out different sizes and I was interested in wearing leather too and we tried a bunch of them. While we were there she also cleaned my stepdads jewelry for him and helped my mom pick out a Pandora charm she wanted to add to my bracelet. I can see why sometimes jewelry stores can get a bad rap and people all vary in their sales. They told me it would be TWO HOURs finally I come back and in the sizing they removed the engraving that my husband had put inside of it, the person who was st the service desk tried to tell me she didn't see the engraving ummmm I DONT CARE if u saw it. My wife purchased earrings that cost around $8,000.00 and later wanted a second set of "backs." I drove 30 miles to be told I had to bring the earrings in - in order to purchase another set. Even after I requested that they look up the purchase to obtain the style, type, etc., they did not want to do this without the actual earrings. I am a bit upset that this could not be done as I do not think every single earring post is a different size in the entire store and they could not figure it out based on what was purchased etc. read more

If I want the minimum customer service, it does not happen till I act rude myself. I do not like to be rude and they shouldn't pride themselves in it as well. That is why I drive to the one in Costa Mesa because they have superb service there. DO NOT GO HERE. The Rancho Cucamonga Jared's does not care in offering you meaningful customer service. I recently started working with Jared of Rancho Cucamonga and absolutely love their customer service. All employees acknowledged me politely as I entered the store and asked if I'd like something to drink. Having worked directly with Ann and Vicky they were incredibly helpful and polite. I've since had them work on several rings and I'm always treated just as wonderful as the first time I walked into the store. As for these negatives I see here, looks like the only negatives here are from those having financial issues paying their bills on time and somehow feel it's Jareds responsibility to carry so I'd really take those reviews with a grain of salt. read more

It seems that within the last year, employees are not as friendly or helpful. No one smiled or gave me a warm greeting on two recent visits. As a matter of fact, a male employee was standing at the front entrance in an imposing stance as if to say "what do you want?" I felt like I was being sizes up. My most recent visit was to repair my Pandora bracelet clasp (out of warranty), which they said they don't fix. I'm left to my own devises for repair.
