In October We purchased two stunning rings. We make our payments on time and loved the quality of our stones. My ring was from the Le Vian. We were satisfied and pleased with our purchase. On 3/11/2015 I brought my ring in for a repair. I chipped my stone :( totally my fault. The rep Jes told me not to worry it was under warranty and I should have it back by 4/11/2015, if not sooner. I called on 3/25/2015 to follow up on the status nothing came in or no news. Again, I followed up on April 1st and I happened to get the manager on the phone. He looked up the status and said he had to call me back. No call back. When I called to follow up that same day he let me know someone should have called me to let me know that my Le Vian ring was not covered under warranty. I explained to him that when we purchased the rings it was guaranteed that both rings were under warranty for all damages. On my yellow receipt it even showed the Rep marked covered warranty "yes" All the while for the past few weeks my ring had been sitting and no one bothered to call me to let me know. What a HUGE Delay! He said he would call back. No call back At this point I had my husband call because I was upset. My husband called and spoke with Crystal. Through Crystal the manager offered to pay half, we did not agree. Again through Crystal the manager said he would cover the full repair to my ring. MOVING FORWARD we understand now what is covered under warranty and what is not. That honesty is finally appreciated. My husband followed up almost on a daily basis to find out the status. Never once did the manager bother to take his call. It was always Crystal. We appreciate her patience and politeness. Today is 4/21/2015 a day after the last promised date. There was urgency for a return before 4/11 & 4/20 because we are leaving the country. I called Le Vian myself today and found out its going through its last inspection. I Le Vian rep know my situation and she politely apologized for the delayed service even though it was not her error. I let her know I understood 100% it was not Le Vian's error. She said she would try her best to push it through and hopefully over night. Not once did we get an apology from Jess or the manager. We were never rude, but patient and still paid on our rings that I have not been able to wear for close to two months. I am so disappointed in the way this was handled. Still no ring read more

I own a Leo solitaire diamond ring, I took my ring in for the first time and had it sent it for a white gold refinish. The promise date on my receipt was 8/28/15. I received a phone call on 8/26/15 by Jess, stating that there would be a week delay on my ring because "they are missing two guys". I'm not sure who "they" are, nor was this explained to me. Nonetheless the new promise date was TODAY 9/4/15. I called and was transferred several times, I finally spoke to this Jess person again. She put me on hold twice, and finally came to the phone to say that my ring had been shipped out today and "hopefully" would be arriving on Tuesday. Hopefully? What does "hopefully" mean??????? Hopefully they have my ring? Hopefully they didn't loose it? Hopefully they didn't fuck it up AGAIN?????? This is terrible customer service. The lady who sold it to us promised that she would pick it up from the jeweler herself. I left very satisfied with my purchase because she didn't push me to spend too much money. She asked my budget and actually taught me about diamonds and why the cost what they do. I didn't feel pressured to buy and I bought cuz she was super sweet. She even rushed my order so I could have it in time for my anniversary. I had an utterly Bizzarre experience at this location tonight. I came into the store with my kids to buy an anniversary gift for my wife. She wanted some of the Pandora charms for her bracelet. When we came in, the three sales associates were busy with other customers so we waited our turn. One female salesperson walked right past me within 3 feet and did not even look me in the eye as she went to wait on a gentleman who came in right after I did. Next, the Mail sales person decided to wait on a group of people who came in at least five minutes after I had arrived. I tried to get his attention to let him know that I was there first, and that I wanted to buy something, but he would not look at me or you make knowledge me. I finally raise my voice loud enough that he finally realized I was there, and he gave me a very rude look and said he would get to me. He really never did. I will also be writing to their corporate office and anyone else to whom I can complain about the disrespectful and completely shabby way I was treated. I walked down a few more stores to Zales where I was treated very nicely, even though they were much busier. I will never, ever, buy anything from the store again. If the people at the corporate office or whoever runs this junk shop checks the security cameras they will see that what I am writing is true. I cannot begin to express how disappointing this entire experience was, and I am absolutely at a loss to understand why I would be treated the way I was. Stay away from this nightmare. I still do not understand why not one sales person would make eye contact, acknowledge my presence, or do anything, in anyway, to help me buy their stuff. UPDATE. I received an email from Jared's corporate office. They asked me to give more details on my experience so I did. They also sent me a survey which I filled out. I was promised I would be contacted further about this matter, but this is February 19, and guess what? No response from Jared's. I don't know why they don't give you an option of leaving zero stars. A diamond fell off of my fathers ring and when he purchased it he was told it had a lifetime warranty and any diamond that fell off would be replaced. Well this is WRONG!!!! What they fail to tell you is that you need to take your jewelry 2 times a year for inspection. OK I get it, why not disclaim that when you are purchasing your jewelry. Now my father lost a diamond on a ring he put on after 5 years being put away. Yes 5 years! So it was not wear and tear. Shame on them for telling me they would not cover the diamond! It's only a scam because the day you do drop a diamond, they tell you it isn't covered and they sell you another one. He paid a little more for a store at the mall vs downtown LA because of such warranties. Well save your time people and just go get more for your money in downtown LA. This is by far the worst customer service by a manager ever! My fiancee and I went in to choose our wedding bands and were being helped by a very sweet woman. It was closing time, so we both chose our rings and after we paid for mine we were in the process of special ordering my fiance's when the manager walked over and asked the woman helping us to walk us out. We still hadn't finished ordering my fiancee's. He then very sternly kept telling her "please walk them out and we will finish it," over and over. At this point it was very obvious we were getting kicked out however we were unable to purchase the second ring. She then walked us out and apologized and said we needed to come back. The store closed at 8 and it was not even 8:10 when he practically kicked us out. After walking out he began to yell at her. I could not believe she had just made a sell, yet he was angry for not getting us out when he snapped his fingers. Not only did we not get my fiancee's ring, but he yelled at her and completely ruined what should have been a very special moment.
