I reach out to Mickey's Jewelry and texted with Micky the owner, where i mentioned I was looking for a gold chain gift for my partner. As soon as I mentioned "partner" I never heard back from her. I followed up a few times but a month went by and I never heard from her. I know my messages have been read and she is just ignoring me. Micky knew I was counting on her so you think she would have said anything like, we can't help you but instead she just read but not responded to my emails. This was for a very special occasion. Terrible customer service. Don't buy from someone who is like the this. I never wish this on anyone but I do hope this business fails.

I had a wonderful experience with Micky and John. Amazing customer service and I am so pleased with how beautiful my ring came out. Attached is the before and after picture of my ring. The ring was passed down to me from my mother in law. It had never been cleaned, it had 1 accent diamond missing, prongs broken, it was too big so it needed to be resized, it also had a separate accent band with it so we needed it soldered. We also decided to upgrade the center stone to a 1/2 ct. as you can see in the pictures, Micky did a beautiful job! The gold was nicely polished, it looks brand new! The ring fit perfect! The band was nicely United to the ring, a brand new prong set to hold the new 1/2ct stone, and the missing diamond was replaced. Such a beautiful job, she truly brought my ring to life and gave it a wonderful makeover! Thank you Micky & John, i am beyond happy!!!

This review may be a tad biased since they helped host a mixer... but Micky's Jewelry Studio is AWESOME! It's a little hole in the wall but full of SHINY, PRETTY THINGS! Micky, the owner is a sweet lady that will answer all your questions. The staff is family and everyone is warm and friend... but not too overbearing. :)

Replica of a ring I bought her 3 years ago. Perfect!

Well Mickey and I had a bit of a rocky start. But after some much needed tlc, she created a genuinely one of a kind piece for me that absolutely floored my girlfriend - just in time for our three year anniversary. I'm so impressed by the perfect scaling and masterful craftsmanship, and would absolutely give her my business again. Thank you!

Engagement ring

I can only start by saying that Mickey's jewelry studio was such an amazing experience for me when buying an engagement ring for my now fiancée. After going to multiple jewelry stores within the area and even Costco, I finally found Mickey's and it was such a great and enjoyable encounter. Mickey and her son John were so helpful in educating me on what to look for in a diamond and what was truly going to matter to my fiancée. Thank you so much for making my fiancée and I so happy. We can't wait to come in and get our wedding bands next.

Micky is amazing! I was recommended to her by a friend . Micky was totally able to understand my vision for a custom made ring . We got my fiancées ring from Micky as well and he loves it . Thank you Micky !

It was not an expensive ring, but it meant so much to my wife, but Micky's treated it with great care.....it had never looked better.

I hate writing negative reviews. I really do. Especially for small businesses such a this one. Up…read moreuntil now, the only other times I've done it were for some crappy clothing store in Fullerton and a pizza joint that served me food with hair on it. But this place deserves it. I would give Gold'n Time negative stars if I could. That's why I was so surprised to read other reviews on here calling the man who works at this store "courteous", "helpful", and "friendly". He was pretty much the exact opposite of all of that when I talked to him earlier today. I came to this place to get a watch repaired. It's an old, rare watch with delicate parts inside. It's also a collector's item and not a typical run-of-the-mill watch. I *wanted* to tell the guy working at the store to be extra careful with it. I *wanted* to let him know that I wasn't sure which battery the watch needed and that I had brought a few different kinds I thought would work. I *wanted* to tell him that I suspected some of the parts had been replaced by the previous owner and that they were not the right fit. But I didn't get to say much of anything. Right as I was about to tell him about the batteries, he cut me off mid-sentence without letting me explain what the overall problem even was. He said he "didn't need any explanations". He did so in a very rude manner that's hard for me to describe in mere words. You just had to be there to witness it. He then unceremoniously grabbed my cherished collector's item and began roughly unscrewing the back of it. When he inevitably came to the obvious fact that it was missing a battery, he came back to ask me which battery the watch needed. I told him that if he'd just been a little more patient and listened to me earlier, I would've already answered that question. This only annoyed him further and he became even more rude. (Side note: I came here for much more than just a simple battery replacement.) At this point, I'd had enough and told him to give me back my watch. He did so and told me not to come back to the store. In response, I flipped him off and called him a few colorful names. Needless to say, I will never consider coming back here or giving him my money ever again. How can someone fix something without knowing what the problem is first? Wouldn't it help to know which part of a device needs the most attention before trying to repair it? And why would anyone think that being rude to customers would be good for business? The guy who works here is a complete idiot. I ended up taking my watch to a place at the mall. They fixed it quickly, for very little money, and the service was excellent. Don't come to Gold'n Time in Glendora. This place sucks.

I've been exploring watches for the past couple of months and was genuinely excited to find a local…read morejewelry store like Y2K Jewelers near me in the Glendora/San Dimas area. Their listings mention carrying Citizen watches, so I hoped to browse in person and potentially make a purchase. I arrived around 10:40-10:45 AM, saw the doors wide open, and assumed they were open early (official hours start at 11 AM). I stepped inside politely and asked the gentleman behind the counter if they were open. He responded with a curt "yes," immediately followed by an abrupt and rude "What do you want?" I was surprised and confused I've never been greeted that way when entering a store intending to browse and spend money. His tone, stare, and overall demeanor felt dismissive and unwelcoming from the very first moment. I explained I just wanted to look around for watches, but he remained short and unfriendly throughout. I even pointed out directly that his behavior felt rude, hoping it might change the interaction, but there was no apology, no softening, and no effort to engage. I left without browsing further. There's a basic level of professionalism one expects from a jewelry store especially one dealing in higher-value items like watches where a welcoming, respectful attitude encourages customers to stay and spend. I rarely leave poor reviews (this is one of very few I've ever written), and I understand people can have off days, but this experience was so consistently off-putting that it stood out. A different approach starting with basic courtesy would make a huge difference. I understand security concerns in California, but treating potential customers with respect shouldn't be optional. This left me disappointed, and I won't be returning. Attaching photos of the gentleman and the store for context.
