I have been attempting to get a men's wedding ring from this Jared location for the past few months. First two times the band came in with a defect (groove on the inside the ring), third time it came in the wrong size, fourth time it came in scratched on the inside. This was for a tungsten wedding ring. The quality of workmanship on these overpriced rings is sub par to even $20-$30 rings. I have spent well over 10 hours driving back and forth and waiting in the location due to the staffs' inability to check the correct ring was received and there is no defect. After trying 4 times to get a ring I decided enough is enough. Staff was completely unapologetic of the amount of time I wasted. Note I spent well over $10,000 at this Jared location. this store is very unreliable. I ordered a customized ring, it was scheduled to arrive at this location on 22 Feb 2024. I did not receive an email to come pickup, but I went anyway, because of past experience with Jared not particularly this location. I walked in, and first I was being ignored until I said excuse me to one of the female sales reps.....I guess because of my race and I was in sweats they assume I was just asking for directions. I told the sales rep, why I was there, she took me to the back of the store, and immediately this older woman, got an attitude with me, because I was there. they could not find my package. started giving me all these excuses i.e. UPS has delivered, but we have not gone through the items, asking me what my order number was, phone number, name etc. I had every email, from start to finish, kept hearing the older female say, I didn't send her an email to come. So I left contacted the number on the website, seems that the item was delivered and was signed for, was directed to call another number and this female kept saying I am so sorry, REALLY!!!!. She gave me the actual tracking number, the person's name who signed for it. I called back to the store to speak to the manager, he immediately started pointing fingers, passing the buck so to speak. He claim the general manager is looking into it, and he asked for my phone number. I have yet to get a call back from anyone. Before I hung up the phone with the store manager I stated, "I hope that you all are not giving me the runaround, He immediately said no we are not we are trying to locate your item, and will get back to you. The sales associates were pretty helpful and patient with us trying on rings. They didn't think anything of my furry baby (dog) in a stroller while shopping. Most of them had dogs at home and they were amazed by how mine didn't bark and stayed in his stroller. We must have spent two hours trying on rings at looking at diamonds. I went into this Jared location because this is the location that my fiancé bought my ring at. He proposed on July 18, and it was amazing! He and my mom said they loved their sales lady who helped them named Faith, said she was soooo accommodating and helpful. They LOVED her. Unfortunately, I went on Monday to get my ring sized because it was too big and Laura helped me. I had such a terrible experience. She was so rude to me and didn't even congratulate me or ask how I liked my ring, I didn't even see a smile. She also didn't care to size my finger correctly and on Wednesday I went to pick up my ring and it's STILL SLIDING OFF MY FINGER. I'm so upset because I knew that day Laura helped me she wasn't not being helpful or even trying at all. It's really sad, I was so sad to have to drop off my ring in the first place and now she made my experience so much worse. However, the rep shouldn't have assumed it was necessary to finance a ring, nor should he have immediately inquired about my husband's credit. He should have inquired if my husband was interested in hearing about some of their "amazing finance options" etc. pretty tacky for what should be a classy shopping experience. We returned 12/26 to get it resized, so I accompanied my husband to Jared for the visit. We were greeted upon arrival with a "how can we help you folks", (but it wasn't the warm southern drawl you may have imagined) the gentleman (white male) who may have been a manger, who doubles as security just didn't seem welcoming. Now he's retracted his statement hiding behind the words they can't do it because its company policy. If it was company policy then why did he state what he did and take advantage of a young couple. I've been coming to Jared since about 2012. I have a protection plan that requires routine inspection. Every time I come, it takes a long time just to find my account! Also, they've recently transferred to a new computer system, that took even longer to find my records! After every time, the sales people that help me provide me with documents to bring in next time to make it 'easier' and it's always taken super long! The service in general is not very inviting. Sure, the sales employees are polite and patient, but when things need to escalated to their manager, it's the most horrible thing to experience! This woman speaks to her employees and customers with such condescension! I'm amazed that after all this time, she's still there! Our experience here was awesome. The main reason was for the customer service Angel Maldonado provided. He was friendly and patient; he let us try on all the bands and styles we wanted. He encouraged us to try on more to see how all the looks matched or didn't match the ring. The experience was very comfortable and warm, unlike other jewelry stores we visited. He gave us tips and recommendations on how to care for the wedding band enhancer and wedding rings. He taught us about the different metals and what to avoid to make the rings beauty last. We did get the service and protection plan to get the band cleaned every 6 months. He showed us how to clean our rings on a daily basis. We had gone to many jewelry stores looking for wedding bands and enhancers to go along with my wedding ring, part of the challenge was the selection. This location had a good amount of styles to choose from, so bonus points for the variety.
