When I asked why the payment was so low they said some of the items has some "light staining" and they needed to make margins too. They paid $40 for 35 items. Let's just say they paid me about $2.55 for just the Hannah Anderson and Mini Boden items. Easily $10 resale that's a nice margin (looked at prices when I was in store).... but what about the 20 other items? The clothing is really only for babies and toddlers. The selection of older boys clothing was sad to say the least. I guess I'll stick to the online consignment store I had been using THAT SOUNDS LIKE **REDUP... at least then I can get myself something with the store credit too. This was my worst consignment experience hands down. The owner Amy was arrogant, dismissive, and rude.

However; I also love coming randomly throughout the year to get updated clothing items. I typically like to check out under Armour and Nike, the Columbia store also has a separate outlet location as well. Recently, I feel like prices haven't been nearly as good as they used to, but in this economy, who can blame them. I would love to see a little bit more variation in the food court, it's mostly Asian cuisines and Cinnabon. All delicious but would love to see some more options. There's a ton of parking, but if you come on a busy weekend, you may not notice and still have to park far away. Bummed to see some recent retailers, leaving, they've been replaced with stores that my opinion were is great. Overall, a decent shopping trip, it's also in a great location. There's plenty of other stores/eating nearby. I recommend checking out the Twin Cities premium outlets if you haven't been there before.

A lot of variety…read more We were walking around the Mall of America, and for me at least, this was my first knowledge of this place called, "The Children's Place". I was utterly amazed to the positive side of the wide variety of neat looking apparel for children, and at amazingly affordable prices! Socks, shoes, pants, shorts, shirts, pajama's, jackets, hats and much, much more. As our child is still growing, I don't think clothes would fit more than a year anyway, so even if it doesn't last forever (and I'm not saying they won't), everything looked very worth the price. If you have kids, you have to go to this place. I'm guessing you'll be flabbergasted to the positive side if you do!

I used to shop at Old Navy when I was much larger and couldn't fit into any Gap clothing. Old Navy had larger sizes that weren't ugly and I appreciated all of it. What was nice to see was a gender-neutral section of clothing. I like how accommodating and sensitive Old Navy has become in this area. I loved looking at the graphic and tie-dyed t-shirts. They say that the latter trend is going away. I hope not. There were a lot of marked-down items. I didn't need to get any clothing, so I ended up browsing around the store. The lounge pants felt so soft and comfortable. I had to tear myself away from this section because my petting them probably looked obscene. I enjoyed checkout out what Old Navy has to offer. Mine went missing when I moved (probably in some box I've yet to unpack in my storage unit), and there's zero need to purchase a brand new stapler when I know I can get an old reliable Swingline from a thrift place like this (plus, I remembered on my first amble through here that they had a whole basket of staplers). Sure enough, I was able to acquire a stapler. But you can bet your ass that I brought along some staples to test out said staplers... the first one I picked up had a busted spring, but the second was fully functional. Both had been priced at $3. I mention this simply as a word of warning to consider testing before you buy.) I also picked up a bobbin thread case and a quart sized bag of crayons (both priced at $3) while I was there. This place is good for finding the kind of craft stuff your granny would keep around at a low price. And honestly, you're doing the environment a BIG favor to snag this kind of thing off a thrift store shelf rather than "convenience buy" it off Amazon or whatever. You can save money and feel good about yourself. The rest of the store has stuff like glassware, clothing, kids stuff, and holiday decor. It's not all amazing stuff. I reckon a lot of folks donate stuff they don't care to sort through when an elderly parent finally kicks it. I visited the Eagan Outlet just to visit this Gap Factory Store. It did not disappoint! It was fun seeing the exact jacket that I was wearing at this store, but in white. Yep, I truly do love this brand. I ended up getting a couple of sweaters that were $7.99 each. They look great and fit nicely. I also got the most comfortable pair of cargo pants. I was not expecting to be that comfortable. It had more Lycra than I had anticipated. I had to get a pair. I wasn't anticipating getting purple mittens and matching hat. Initially, I was looking at a purple infinity scarf. It was okay, but I liked the matching purple mittens and hat a lot more. They felt right when I tried them on. More importantly, they were heavily reduced. Both items combined didn't exceed $5. I had to try everything in the fitting room. It was bright and clean. I had plenty of places to hang my stuff and the articles of clothing that I wanted to try on. The man cashing me out was helpful. He asked whether I had any coupons. And put it back in its place so as not to cause any disorder, People asked me if I had it in my bag, and I opened it without hesitation. I have nothing to hide. But you never know who's standing in front of you. Maybe someone who can pay your salary and your house without a loan, and that could be me. I completely understand their position, but their carelessness resulted in rudeness to a customer, and I also have employees, and that cannot happen.

There were hooks to determine whether I had to have the item, if it goes back on the rack, or if I'm still thinking about it. Frankly, the sweaters that I was trying on weren't that flattering on me, so I had to put them back. This store has an amazing selection of PopSockets. I've never seen anything quite like it. They were all on sale. I saw regular ones that I am familiar with. You can get just the tops and swap them out. There was a cute donut enamel one. There were also fancy jewelled ones. I bought the purple jewelled one because it was pretty in my favourite colour. I liked the travel section. There were nice luggage pieces and accessories. There was an aisle of discounted watches and bracelets. I spent some time looking at everything. There was a bracelet with an infinity symbol as a charm that I knew a friend of mine would love. I went to pay at the checkout. I collected Kohl's reward points through the app on my phone. The cashier was helpful and patient. I used a credit card to pay. All was great. It is extremely common to see something like a beautiful glass punch bowl priced at $4.99 while a junky plastic water bottle is priced at $15.99. I've also seen frames with ripped backs and shattered glass priced higher than $10. If you're looking to buy secondhand, this place has some nice options. If you're looking for a BARGAIN, this is NOT the place.
