I wrote a short email and explaining everything and went to bed. I figured they wouldn't get back to me soon enough so I'd have to call them in the morning MAYBE they'd refund the $15. They responded that morning with the nicest email and I was refunded the $15 before noon! The clothes are not the cheapest and I haven't gotten my clothes yet but I can tell you coustomer severice there is really good. 5/5 stars!

They've got everything from linens, to clothing (not an enormous selection of clothing here), to incredibly interesting and unique furniture pieces! I talked to one of the sales people and they said the closest location to me (Los Angeles) is in Vegas. :-/ Well, I'm going to drive over there with a truck and go to town! They don't have a website for ordering furniture. :-( Their pieces are made unique and inexpensive for this store. The quality is good, not flimsy by any means. The first time I went in, I was not greeted and the employee on shift was sitting on the counter on her phone watching videos, then when I asked for a fitting room she said they close they're dressing rooms an hour early before close to sanitize them. If that was the case I wouldn't have cared, but I've been in before and been able to try things on even 20 minutes before closing. Then today 5/4/23 I went in looking for a dress and spent less then five minutes in there because I wasn't once again not greeted and the employee could not get off her phone! Keep in mind there were a handful of customers in the store besides me, it was also a bit awkward with no music because it was so quiet but I can't be too upset with that. After I had asked a few times with no response about a necklace I had enough and decided to spend my money elsewhere, I hate leaving bad reviews but this has happened on more than one occasion and it's getting old! No one knows good customer service anymore! If I decide to continue to shop at down east I will take the minor inconvenience to go across the street!!

Sweaters are just less than $500. 100% cashmere sweaters. Some beautiful colors, but a bit pricey, then again they are fashion sweaters with the embroidered text on there. The best part about this store is that they allow opposite gender in either dressing room. This option is great for moms with kids, spouses helping each other with sizing, or for that transvestite friend that doesn't know how to size himself and doesn't know what's good on him yet. Seriously, the last one was my situation a little while ago. It was great to be able to go into his dressing room with him to give him a hand with zipping up, or helping him out of stuff that was too tight. 02/12/2025 In the evening when I arrived to meet with my…read morefamily to shop. Immediately I felt unwelcome and uncomfortable as I approached my mother and older sister were already in line. The man at the register seemed to be saying something into his radio/earpiece. Not only that man at the register but it seemed the Security Guard (I'm guessing) who was at the self-checkout seemed to be giggling about something. Now I wish it was just me but I was having a pretty good day and it felt as if I was being avoided. The man at the register left and let a young woman take over. Seeing as I got there a little late to meet up with them to shop. We had gotten out of line to continue to look around the store to leave together. Moments after we got back in line the SG notified everyone that if we had left than X items we could go to self-checkout. Seeing as we did we went ahead and moved. The same thing happens the SG was laughing and seemed to be talking into the radio/earpiece and called over the Young woman to take over at the self-checkout. I confided in my sister and mother about it, they agreed that something was strange. So it was not just me imagining it. Needless to say, it was a horrible experience. The young woman was kind and I appreciated her kindness.
